Love this philosophy of a car. Low powered, low weight and great handling cars are incredibly underrated.
I wouldn't call 280hp/ton low power. Power to weight is better than E92 M3. This thing is a proper little weapon. I can totally get why the owner would consider this an upgrade from a S2000. Maybe not in terms of looks but overall it's a very compelling package.
Most people don’t understand it. Toyotas version of the Lotus Elise. It eats everything in touge. Underrated for so many years. I like that it’s misunderstood, and a lot of enthusiast are ignorant, it keeps them cheap to buy.
Look up Spirit MR-S v Tsuchiya san's 86, it's an old Hot Version touge clip.
The MR is such an amazing cornering platform.

The MR2 3rd gen vs Exige v2 had different motors. Exige came with the same motor as the Celica GT-S the 2zz and the MR2 the 1zz which have different bore and stroke.
It is also way more pleasant on longer trips than any Lotus

This vs Tsuchiya's AE86 needs to happen. Need more videos on this car! Hopefully Taniguchi takes this car to the track or touge. No one better than Taniguchi to review this car. Awesome video!

Such a fantastic chassis, but I've never been fond of the looks, with a built k series this is definitely a supercar
VIS racing makes some great stuff for it to make them look much better, plus other brands but VIS comes to mind, the gt sport front bumper in particular alone makes me want one of these
