Dear actually disconnection is only a mental approach in real it never happens. It had been seen that when ever you have 1, 5 system bond between 3rd and 4th carbon gives you natural synthon hence natural reagents for forward direction reaction if some other bond get disconnect it may leads to unnatural synthons and they might not be giving you proper reagent for synthetic approach.
