    That's very true. He didn't take PED's to raise money for cancer research. He took them to become the best cyclist in the world. Lance wanted to blow away the competition by any means necessary.

    the head of his cancer charity gave up the post when he realised what lance was upto, the new head didnt care. its true people have good and bad in them but the good doesnt excuse the bad. i also believe the idea of the cancer charity had two aims one side of it was to help people but the other was to make him untouchaple basically he used it to cover his operations

    Anyone who thinks that there are actually clean athletes in any sport at an elite level is just plain dumb. Everyone is juicing.

    In America being a winner is more important than being a goody goody. IDGAF if anyone disagrees with me.

    Victor Conte contradicts himself bad in this interview. When he was on the Joe Rogan podcast he had a Total different view on ped's and said you cannot compete in professional sports without them.

      +WoundrousMindTrick how do you know that they are not clean ,you cannot assume neither can you just listen to person such as Victor Conte . VC is a broken bitter man

    • @dannygjk

      I think you don't get the point. V Conte meant that you can't get to the same level as the top tier athlete's unless you use PES.

      You can't do boxing clean because endurance and strength are crucial.

      Whether the 'anti-doping advocate' will defend or attack you depends on whether you paid him or not.

    Now Victor doesn't have to lay in on this thick. He did it because he made money and most other countries do it as we do to win.

    Armstrong's cycling history and his cancer research history are two different things in my opinion. Just because you are involved in something positive that doesnt nullify his tainted cycling past. And the success of the cancer research wouldnt have been near the hit it was if he hadnt used PEDs. He gained an awful lot by cheating and ruined alot of people. These findings are well deserved by Armstrong. Just my opinion.

    • @horse-4598
      @horse-4598 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No one cares about cycling. What he did for cancer research and patients is way bigger than what he did in his cycling career.

    • @SuperOlds88
      @SuperOlds88 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@horse-4598Armstrong is a dirtbag, he took advantage of the fact that he gave himself cancer then he capitalized on that plus he continued to lead a very unhealthy lifestyle through PED's. Anybody that looks up to him is as stupid as he is, he is the poster child for stupidity along with his fans.

    The fact that the government spent as much time and money on this case and other PED case is what should be investigated. PED are always part of sports and probably always will be. But congress has no business getting involved in stuff like this while they ignore hundreds more important issues.

    if they take Armstrong down in this Witch Hunt when will they give the title to the lower 25-27th place cyclists? This is such a waste of taxpayers money!

    Lance didn't do anything that at least 40% of the other cyclists weren't doing. They went after Lance because he was winning and then became a pariah.

    • @dannygjk
      @dannygjk 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was way more than 40%. At least one of them said most of the cyclists were doing PES or self transfusions.

    Lance just played the European's game better. Europeans are still the best dopers, past and present. There's a report that a whole country, Russia state sponsored drug program taking 5% of their profit today. Look it up. There's an unnamed British cyclist on their list. Wonder who?

      no american sport has run all the biggest programs at least in the last 20 ys sport in eastern europe has completley changed in america nothing has changed, peds in combat sports could lead to deaths

      And yet Victor Conte's main clientele were American athletes by a big majority. He has admitted that... the important point to observe is that drug doping has no nationality, unlike your jingoistic comment.
