Every game needs a Rock and Stone button equivalent. Its such a small thing but really helps the team play and community side of things. Edit: Imagine if, in Battlefield for example, after capturing an objective you just hear a shit ton of people collectively "ROCK AND STONE" (Or you know, whatever the games equivalent would be.)
Chivalry 2 has something similar and it's just the characters screaming at the tops of their lungs or insulting your mother, but it's so fuckin funny to watch a guy run full speed into someone and get fucked instantly while shouting "I SOILED MESELF!!"
Like a war cry? Yeah that could be cool. I know chivalry has that. But after capturing a point in battlefield 1 and hearing “For America!” Or “For the Queen!” Or “For Ferdinand!” Would be really immersive and cool.

I have no idea what they could do but Russians could be something like "For the Motherland" maybe? There would also need to be more than 1 or 2 variations otherwise it would probably get stale real fast. DRG has MANY different forms of "FOR ROCK AND STONE" for example.
I picked a good time to get back into DRG cuz it feels like right after I got into it again everyone is talking about it again. Hell, they just announced season 4.
Everything I've heard about DRG is amazeballs. Even the playerbase is surprisingly helpful and welcoming, for once in an online game. Let alone anything close to griefing is more like goofing around with pals, or (maybe) hazing the newbie at a blue collar job: all in good fun. Also, was not expecting a Super Mario Bros 2 reference today. Happy for it!
@@benji-menji I didn't have that, but once I joined a server at the end of a mission (as in they were about to call the drop pod when I joined) and I somehow got 75 Barley Bulbs on mission completion. Nothing else seemed out of place. I'm not complaining though, I had a bad drought for a while and that brought me right out of it, and allowed me to buff for some harder missions again. I don't know, I have been having a hard time finishing missions that the things spawn in in general so I was just grateful to get a boost. Bad luck I guess. I've been playing only on H4 for many months now but I suddenly started failing like 80% of mission attempts for almost a month. It was super frustrating.

I'm not one for these types of games usually, but I really like the "vibes" in DRG. I love it when games have these unnecessary little additions like actually drinking the beer instead of having it be a cutscene or menu only.
0:16 COMPLETE misinterpretation of Dwarf fortress! my fisherdwarf fought off a goblin raid with nothing but his fists when he got stuck outside the fort! both the dwarves in drg and df are about as smart as concrete pavement but with enough training and constant supervision (be that from mission control or an omnipotent entity ordering them around), any dwarf is more than capeable of taking down eldritch monsters (as long as there is about 4 of them
By the way, if you're already been playing this game for a long time, you might want to try Mission Content Randomizer mod. It's not just a randomizer, it adds new elements to the space rig, new mission type and some significant optimization improvements, that allow to make some crazy scaled missions.

The Developers of this game really put love into it and didnt let greed take them over and it reflects from the community, i always play with randoms and in my nearly 300 hours of playtime i only met two guys that were pricks and that means ALOT, i love DRG! Rock and Stone or you aint coming Home ;)
I remember one game I had, probably the most intense game of DRG Ive ever had, I was playing as scout, our engie got downed, he told us to leave him behind, me, gunner and driller were already at the drop pod and I simply said "No" while going like 50mph toward his location, I managed to revive him and we both got to the drop pod with about 22 seconds left
Ive had it for a month and spent 200+ hours on it. Its the most fun game ive had in a while! Earning stuph feels good and regardless of if you play solo or coop its always a good game. They even allow mods for both coop and single! Community has been great for the most part...think ive only had two bad interactions (one guy cussed me out on my steam profile cuz my internet died whilst we were on a deep dig lol and the other just kept Shooting everyone.)other than than its been Rock and Stones all around! Pick up this game if you haven't already!

As someone with over 750 hours of gameplay in this game, I always love seeing newer players pick up the game or tell others why its so amazing. This game and it's community are insanely amazing and special in a way no other game has quite achieved in a very very long time.
Great video! I adore this game, and I've recently picked it up again after not playing for a while. Can 100% agree on everything you've mentioned, was glad to hear that I'm not the only one enjoying Hyper Propellant on Engi (I usually see people use Fat Boy or an alternative secondary gun). Love the amount of customization the game has to offer, too, I appreciate the amount of various beards and victory poses, ranging from cool to hilarious. P.S As a first-person shooter-loving person, I also enjoy Gunfire Reborn, but it's only playable if you can let go of feeling like a furry on a convention. Wonder what you'll think about it, if you'll end up playing it!
Tbh in gunfire the roguelike feel is pretty low compared to some other roguelikes, as tbh it feels like there isn't that much variety in the power ups, but it's still pretty good with some broken builds.
6:20 Fun Fact, you can hold e and land on the pipeline to negate any and all fall damage. Same goes for Gunner Ziplines. You can also ledge climb or land on someone's head to negate fall damage, though these are a bit trickier. You can also land on top of larger enemies such as Praetorians, Oppressors, Dreadnoughts, and other large enemies to negate fall damage, which is a lot more consistent and reliable if you don't play with a coordinated team. Also, I had no idea what this game really was before New Years Eve, but my friend gifted it to me on Steam and I have now since clocked in 600 hours in the past 4 months. I love this game, but more importantly, I love its community

The worst I've seen online was someone hacked a game to give mega gold and xp. I believe you can rollback your save if that happens luckily.

I think the reason the company wants eggs is probably 2 reasons:
-research for tech that’s great against glyphids
-breakfast
as a grey beard we never span around the big wealth enducing nugget, we just stood still and click LMB as fast as physically possible

Got this game in November. A few hundred hours later, and it's a top 5 multiplayer game ever for me.
