So a bit of interesting history on Ultraman Rising. It wasn't originally going to be an Ultraman movie, but as revealed by the director and even concept art, it was going to be an Ultraman inspired story. It dose also seem Emi and her mother design carried over from that stage. Ken og Ultraman inspired design did not. However, Tsuburaya, the people behind Ultraman like what they had. They decided to work with them turning it into a full on true Ultraman movie. Which after seeing it you can see why they like it that much.
Some fun facts about Ultraman in general: -Ken's mom is currently at the nebula m78 or "the Land of Light", Home planet of the Ultra Race, presumably where his Father came from. -Kenji is the Second human/Ultra Hybrid at the franchise, the first one been Asakura Riku (or Ultraman Geed) -when Emi is doing her dance she is copying Godzilla victory dance from the showa era -older ultramans can develop mustach and even beards like Ultraman King (the current ruler of the land of the light and presumably the strongest ultra alive) -there's also Ultra-womens at the land of the light, and even UltraKids already appeared at the series -The ultraman name is used by the original ultraman at the first series in 1966, but his real name was never revealed -and finally, Ultramans normally can display a certain color pallete, the ones with a lot of red in their skins are from a warrior cast, with blue are from a cientist cast, with blue and red from a mixed cast, ultras with black colors are from locations where the energy of the land of the light is not so present (like nearby planets at the same nebula), there is also golden colored Ultras (normally fusion or power up forms, been King the unique gold Ultra until now) And the rarest color is Orange, UltraWoman Griggio is the first and Only orange ultraman portraid at the series
yep and Ultraman is mainly a title as in total there are less than 60 Ultraman with it in their name out of the 18 billions people in their race an example is Ultraman Leo having that title but his brother is just Astra even in the galaxy fight series when his name card come up
And dont forgot, human cant actually understand Ultraman, becuase all we can hear is grunt. So, it kind of suprise to me that this movie look like people can actually hear him screaming....
Because they have an already packed schedule not just on TH-cam but in real life too, they’re done with Kamen Rider Gavv reactions. I know it sucks especially when things were just getting really good, but they’re still going to watch Gavv just off camera. Monty did mention that they would be doing episode reviews, that’s not the same I know, but there’s nothing we can do about it that’s just life.

The work you have done to help push the needle forward for animation and claymation is truly amazing. We are both animal lovers and I know the pain of loving a dog so I am glad that we were able to bring you some small comfort during this difficult time. I also think that it is really special that you were able to immortalize Janie in such a wonderful story about family. I know you don’t know us personally but when I say I don’t normally gush about movies this hard I hope you believe it. Because Ultraman: Rising had a deep emotional effect on me and I truly love what you all were able to accomplish here. Utterly shocked at the final product. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help use our platform to promote this film during award season. We really believe in this movie and would love to see it recognized!! I feel like Ultraman Z could also be a good recommendation, cuz i think they did quite a good job at explaining about how the world of Ultraman works, like, the time limit as Ultraman, the Ultra/human host thingy, how time works/passes during the henshin (mostly for new gen Ultras), some history/facts of previous Ultras and other bunch of stuffs
I highly recommend y’all watch Ultraman The Next & Shin Ultraman, ones a good retelling of the character and ones a faithful love letter to the original 1966 series

This movie was fantastic the animation was an incredible and man I was not expecting such an emotional story from the movie
