An open letter to Zeest the band. It is my humble request and I am sure the rest of the country can also agree with me that it is finally time to make your presence more televised. For over 20 years you have lived in the shadows and inspired millions of people. Now with artists like Shamoon Ismail who released a track called MARIJUANA; i think its time to either do 3 things:
Release a music video featuring new artists like Shamoon and Young Stunners who are also smokers and dopers like yourself OR
Release a cover version with JUST shamoon.
OR Just release the damn music video. With a legacy that you have built over the years, there are people who will do this for free. PLEASE

I guess it was the year 2005-06, we were doing our MBA from Army. When I first heard the song, I was like, did I heard correctly or they are really singing BC. The two years of MBA was perfectly summed up in this song. That's the beauty of it. We sang it during our farewell. Those were the times and the memories. Long live Zeest!

I first heard this song when I was in 1st grade, staying in the hostel because of my Toxic parents! Back then.. my senior used to play it and we’d all laugh at the slang and the way the singer delivered it... I actually hated the song at the time... Now I’m finishing 12th grade and listening to it while smoking... I’m struck by how much time has flown... It’s incredible how this song has become so much more than just a track for me... While scrolling for a song to play during my smoke session... I came across it again and realized it was the same song... It hit me that it’s actually the best song ever.

2006.. last year of my college. used to hear this song on my ipod everyday. I'm from Mumbai but i thought this was some band from Delhi for obvious reasons lol.
