I got so frustrated with the fight because I tried researching so many tricks to figure out how to dodge that hurricane without getting knocked off. Helps a lot, thanks!
I loved this boss fight, and downed it sunday morning after a night full of wipes. The last phase is much more hyping way of soft enraging than on other bosses like terros, sire or sylvanas - you actually see the storm slowly creep toward you and your adrenaline steadily rises as the ring gets closer to her. Raz is my favourite raid boss to date, and a great ending to the great first stept of this also great (so far) expansion.
@@managers6667 the only reason you would say that is if you were a filthy herba/mining botter or if you are so old/disabled that you cannot control a dragonriding mount properly. Literally everything has been an improvement over Shadowlands. And I will enjoy the dislike, cuz having people that are unable to mention even 1 counterargument against what I am saying just proves I am right Edit: group loot is the only downgrade that happened this expansion. It's objectively making the game worse to receive a bow as a group with no hunters or evoker staff with no evokers, in case you wanted some reasons why this expansion isn't perfect.

You're clear and most importantly, mentally stable (at least with your content :) ) Returning to WoW for first time since BC. Lots of channels doing DF updates, what to do at 70, etc... Havent found a channel or video that does a "Returning to WoW after many many years... you have no toons, here's what to do" video. Maybe you could make one? TIA.
facts the amount of new returning players is crazy in dragonflight i havent played since MoP lost everything because of inactivity and there is SSSOOO MUCH to relearn about wow
Kelani- can you give some deets about your UI? SO clean and easy to see! I have Elvui but can't seem to find that great balance of utility and screen space you have. A UI/addon video would be awesome!
I'm having a little trouble pugging this. People are getting into their positions just fine, but the raid damage seems really exorbitant. A lot of the static charge carriers are dying from the damage it deals, it just feels like healers are unable to keep up. Deaths to actual mechanics are low, it's just keeping people alive through the raid damage that was forming a block
@@mackenziedegolier4750 downed it a couple times and you're right, some characters including my druid have somewhat low hp (230k-ish) so you have to top them off or pop a defensive to survive. Me, I just grabbed the bonus Health bear talent on the left which gives me an extra like 120k hp in bear, with barkskin its no sweat at all.
Was such a pain in the ass to pug this. Big tip: dont bring extra healer, in 2/3/6 or 2/4/9, while the boss requires a ton of healing, you wont have enough dps for the last phase. Learned this the hard way after wiping to 5-10% all the time.
3:48 I dont see positive/negative icon, how to know we are negative or positive, someone help me pls. Just failed my last Razgazeth, I can see others’s icon but not mine.
That's what I'm doing now. In almost every LFR group, it seems like a good 50% of the raid hasn't learned anything about the fights. Usually you can summarize it in a few sentences for people, but this one seems like there's so much for people to fuck up on that I'll be surprised if we'll be able to clear it. Seems like the Jailer but worse. lol. At least in terms of being able to get people to play along on the fly.
@@kellyriddell5014 i actually did it on 6 characters. it takes a bit to weed out the idiots and grievers and entitled asshole expected to be carry, but once u get a competent enough group its actually pretty easy. like after a while of not reading but dying to the same shit, these ppl just leave and u hopefully get more competent ppl in
@@patlee4858 I did it this week too. The group wiped 7 times but we got it done. We did have to really talk people through it, but hopefully people will learn and remember as the weeks go by.
I 100% guarantee this is getting nerfed within the next few weeks...this boss has been a major wall for nearly every pug raid group no matter how well coordinated. I bet LFR is also going to be a nightmare.
@@aorelain Getting stressed and being challenged don't have to be the same thing. There is an amount of players that want to do things in raid whereas classic raids are pretty afk for the most part. It's only now in Ulduar that things are starting to pick up.
it really isn't a hard fight at all. if you're a dps there is very little to think about outside of dodging breath and getting knocked back into pools.
Oh man really I got tired of all these mechanics, might be too old for WoW but then again the vast majority of players, are. WoW is not attracting young player base, so where is this going I dont know...
Kick folks in phase 1 that get blown off, beamed, or can't place bombs. Just save the rest of the raid the annoyance of dealing with their lack of mechanic knowledge. If you can't get the entire raid through phase 1 with zero deaths, there's really not much hope for success.
@Nick wellllll....I hate to break it to you...buttttttt....I, me, the lead, definitely would be the one kicking you from the raid lmfao. Its okay though, you could just go to LFR next week to learn some of the mechanics on someone else's time.
its looking really fun and challenging.. which means we will see some stupid nerfs from blizz to it soon bcos freakin 10 yr old casuals will cry about it and ruin the fun for all of us p.s - They already just nerfed mythic dungeons by aproxx 25% ..FFS
Yeah it needed a nerf. did it need 25%? I dont know, but as a healer the hardest thing to do was deal with all the damage dps took. Tanks were fine, but dps would get deleted way too fast.

Yeah, as a resto druid I concur. The explosions from the static blasts are nuts. Even more annoying when I'm the one with it.
@potaterjim Get into a proper guild and stop pugging. Pugs are nearly always full of scrubs in epics.
