@@yoshiramirez4481They mentioned it themselves in the show, that Jay-Z will never be part of the good old boy club or inner circle. So, do you honestly believe that those owners would give a S**t about what issues or concerns Jay-Z will bring up. To me it is just a check in the box for the NFL and to save their image with the public.

      Ownership ?
      Yeah,like with the Brooklyn Nets.
Jay Z isn't owning any franchise.

      Not one.

Jay Z is NOT playing three dimensional chess. He has nothing up his sleeve except lining his pockets with more money. The NFL want people to forget and Jay Z is the pawn in this game. He is so blindled by the money that he can't see that he is being used. He's a sell out. End of.

So let me get this straight Eric Reid you have a right to play in the NFL but Jay Z doesn’t have the right to partner with them because Kap doesn’t have a job? Man I am pro player but I do understand that action or changes only take place by doing something... People so use to being insulted that they dont know when someone is insulting them. So you telling me that since you did not see Jay Z take a knee that he could not be a supporter of the cause? If that's the case, then you are talking about the rest of us that didnt kneel but was big supporters. How many people took a knee at their place of employment? How many really speak up about injustices around their own communities? How many actually do something in their communities? If you wanted to perform at the Superbowl that's what you should have done, you dont have to listen to him. At the end of the day, I am sure the NFL knew they had to go about this differently when they saw how their numbers continued to decline and now they are singing a different tune; they wanted to talk. Although, people hate to admit it we are pass kneeling and it's time to incorporate other things. When MLK was fighting for a change, he didn't only have sit ins, he boycotted, he marched, he went and conversations with the same people that was trying to block us. What is the plan after kneeling? If all you wanted to do was bring awareness and nothing else than it isn't be a problem if someone else wants to add to it. Yall acting only one muthafucka can do something at a time.

I normally agree with Shannon Sharpe but this was a money grab on Jay Z part plain and simple. When the owner's conversation revolved around talent and half time shows that told me Jay Z is there for entertainment purposes only. This the old bait and switch routine.. Jay Z is the bait and the African American community is supposed to switch our focus from the lack of support from the NFL to the cause of social justice. This is not working with people like me!

The NFL flipped Jay-Z. No reputable black entertainers would play at the half-time Super Bowl Show.
This was hurting the NFL's bottom line. So they asked: "Who is the most influential black man in music today"? Somebody said it's Jay-Z. So the powers that be said, "Do whatever it takes to get him on our side. Money is no object"!

There are certain things that shouldn’t be for sale within the black community. And all money isn’t good money! #IJS!

justsaying but there are certain things that money can’t buy. The black community have been ‘hoodwinked’ by this racist society, for centuries. It’s time for us to take a collective stance against white supremacy. It’s long overdue!
