Vivi amazing timing! I was just watching your 2 month old purple luffy video yesterday! I dont normally play meta decks but I love that purple luffy is almost entirely wano strawhats and is still top tier
There is also another good combo play with the 7C sanji rusher where in a 10 DON turn, you return 2 DON so you can cheat the 6C Sanji Blocker with only 3 DON developing an extra blocker. As always, very good video and thank you!!!
Started running 2-3 Kamazo in OP08 to pop Kayas and little blockers, also pretty good to get rid of DocQ in OP09! Also still running 3 Magellans because delaying the 10cTeach, Shanks or 8c Gecko Moria by 1 turn helps a lot!
Yesterday, I went to play at my local and swapped the Luffys for the Kaidos. Let me tell you, it made all the difference in the first game against Doffy. I managed to win because I could easily take two characters out of the way-it was really great. I also have this theory: when you're already ahead and on track to win, you don't need help to secure the victory. I think Luffy fits into that category-he's only good when you're ahead. If you're playing from behind, he does little to nothing. On the other hand, Kaido is super versatile in this regard. He can both help you close a game and turn the tide in your favor. That's just my opinion. Oh, and by the way, I won that local with Kaido and Vanilla Usopp as the MVPs!
Thanks for upload can’t wait to try this leader against other meta decks and I guess for tech option I would love have kaido and bebo for getting extra buff to the leader
I’ve been playing with 4 cost Ain in my p luffy deck and I really like it. Not having a count feels bad sometimes but pitching Ain late game for gum gum giant or linlin feels greats
Awesome video! Really helped me to understand pluffy. Also would you consider a on a budget series? For instance with pluffy swapping out mr.2 with hawkins or 9c luffy with 9c kaido. Black beard replace laboon with toy soldier etc.... While the suggestions are really helpful. I haven't really seen gameplay with those substitutions would be really useful for players on a budget. Just something to consider. Thanks for the informative video!
That's a really cool and fun idea, I'll look into it for sure. I did a Competitive on a budget series back in OP07 or 08, it didn't exactly do super well, but I do enjoy the challenge
Thanks Again 😂 great content. Just talked with a friend of mine about the new power of P Luffy and many vids..but nothing as far as good as your guide. Love for Vv Love for Sabo Love for Revos Keep going
Hey VV, is the September video of Perona 09 still viable? Have you revisited that deck? Thanks I love playing the nonmeta decks and just curious, thanks!
I play the Animal Pirates Chopper as my chump blocker instead of the Robin. It helps against decks that also ramp and late game when I might use gum gum giants and go down, without making any negative differences compared to the robin.
Great vid. Imo bon clay isn’t needed in pluffy and instead I been liking 4 eustass blockers and 16 2ks total (I do 1 franky, 3 blocker Sanji, 4 usohachi, 4 hiratori Kamazo). Bon can also def be a 2 of but I don’t believe u need any more than that.
Love the high 2k count. I wouldn't be surprised to see more decks swap to higher 2k Counters over time as better and better options come out for them. Purple has great some great 2k options already.
@CurlyFries_5 the thing with brulee is that if the opponent doesn't attack on the turn right after you play it, you don't get the don and can't play 7 cost luffy without using leader effect. Wich defeats the purpose of the card. Overall it will work only if your opponents doesn't play around it
You can try out the Jean Bart if you want to, but I think he might only be useful in a game where you have to go 2nd, so that you could go turn 1 2 Don pass, turn 2 4 Don + Leader Don = 5, Jean Bart to 6. That's about the best example I can think of, but that is also assuming you don't have something like a 5c Sanji or 5c Kid to play. But of course for a budget option give it a try and see how you like it

Great video brother! Love the competition ready decks, definitely helpful to see these videos! Keep up the good work, brother!
Great idea for a series. Look forward to the rest of them.
very much agree, came here to say this :D
I was actually looking for a video exactly like this for purple luffy. I'm hoping you make a green Bonney
Love the in debt videos. Thank you
I like these types of videos a lot Vv
It’s actually 5 emperors. You forgot to mention Red/Yellow Sabo
💯

Hello Vv, good video i win my locals aniversary event with pluffy, gum gum giant is too strong, now i have leader sabo AA to play 🎉
Thanks for upload can’t wait to try this leader against other meta decks and I guess for tech option I would love have kaido and bebo for getting extra buff to the leader
Can you make a video over green purple Doflamingo please 🙏
Vv back with another banger!
I’ve been playing with 4 cost Ain in my p luffy deck and I really like it. Not having a count feels bad sometimes but pitching Ain late game for gum gum giant or linlin feels greats

Keep going
🙏Appreciate ya
I play a four of Hitokiri Kamazo. 2k counter with bonus of getting rid of searchers.
Pls explore the possibility of Douglas bullet, I’ve used to absolutely make Blackbeard players rage in the chat and quit lol
Hey VV, is the September video of Perona 09 still viable? Have you revisited that deck? Thanks I love playing the nonmeta decks and just curious, thanks!
I think I need to revisit it and I'm sure I will sometime soon, but it's probably still pretty fun in its current form.
I think the 4c Laws are a must if your local meta has a lot of Nami players.
I play the Animal Pirates Chopper as my chump blocker instead of the Robin. It helps against decks that also ramp and late game when I might use gum gum giants and go down, without making any negative differences compared to the robin.
I like that idea a lot, great choice over the Robin.
Beyond insane the nami player didn't play his Kaya and nami lol
Hello. Can you do one on OP09 B/P Luffy pls? : ) I'd love to hear your insights.
14:21 Hol' up Pause! lol
How do you play against pluffy? I assume rushing them down is best but I'm not familiar with the matchup
What do you think of Jean Bart as a replacement for Bonclay?
It's definitely an option 👍
If you don't have Bon Clay just use the vanilla Usopp

Bon Clay is essential if you're forced 2nd.
@@EverImportant I used to agree however wit eustass at 4 as long as u see him you should be fine
Please do the extra turns luffy. I'm new, I pulled 1 and I'm buying a set. I wanna play it so bad!
Do u think Jean Bart from st 10 is a better budget option for bon clay than Hawkins?
No it costs 1 more, it's too expensive (in don) to play
Mayeb try brulee, thats what i use
@CurlyFries_5 the thing with brulee is that if the opponent doesn't attack on the turn right after you play it, you don't get the don and can't play 7 cost luffy without using leader effect. Wich defeats the purpose of the card. Overall it will work only if your opponents doesn't play around it

@@ClaudioDaCunha-sd2lgI see
How about trade 5c kid into 3c purple pudding ?
Could definitely try it
'Bon Cray' :') bro doesn't know his name..
