    LOL I love your tutorials but halfway through this tutorial despite your fantastic British accent I was reminded how British you are when you said can I have a biscuit and I heard the Spanish and thought wait isn’t that a cookie that it all came clear to me in one moment and I had to laugh at myself

      @pompikaushal4604 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hola! Of course both of them are correct,but me gustaría( I would like) is generally(but not invariably)used when you want to order something or do something eg "me gustaría un bocadillo de jamón"( a ham sandwich). "Me gustaría ir a la playa"(to the beach
      "Quisiera" is mostly used giving formal or polite commands eg 'Quisiera una habitación con baño"( a room with bathroom).

      @@pompikaushal4604 Thanks for pointing out the way in which these two different polite forms of request apply to different situations.
      From what (lo que lo) you have said, I would now only use "quisiera" to express a preference, but not as a direct request.

    In Great Britain, if someone asked for two beers, the barman would be amazed, as the order is too imprecise: What kind of beer, draught or bottled, size?? Likewise in Spain. A small draught beer is "una caña" whereas a large beer is "un doble" or "una jarra".

    In the sentence, "¿Me pones un aqua?", why is the article "un" used instead of "una"? I fully understand the use of "el" with aqua, because the rule is that nouns that begin with "A" or "HA" and that have the accent on the first syllable must take the article "el" instead of "la" on feminine nouns. But, I didn't believe that rule also applied by switching "una" to "un". If my understanding of this rule is correct, then I assume the article "un" is used instead of "una" because there is an unspoken, but understood, word in front of "agua"; e.g., "¿Me pones un (poco de) agua?" or, "¿Me pones un (vaso) de agua?" But, I'm guessing, so I'd like some clarification on this. Thank you.

    • @LearnSpanishLearnSpanish
      @LearnSpanishLearnSpanish  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whenever you would change the la to el, as in the examples you give, una to un applies as well, e.g. el hacha and un hacha.

But what if the condition like, the subject is I/ Yo, me, mi, in Spanish. the objects are women. can we say? bella or bello ? como esta ? is it bella? or bello is right?
    i actually wanna say beautiful how are you, just confused which form which should choose. hope you will have a glance of this question or others can answer it too. all will be very appreciated. TIA, cheers!
