it had to evolve or it would not have lasted. the formula was already getting stale just by the second film. it was getting stale again until the rock came in. Whether you like it or not they had to change, there is only so many undercover cop stories with street racing you can do before nobody cares anymore.

Fast Five had the right idea, even if it had like one lame race, but where do they draw a fucking line? Hobbs and Shaw? Sci-fi super soldiers? Submarines, tanks, futuristic stealth jets? Rocket engine on a car? Sure, up the scale, have the stakes be as ridicilous as saving the fucking world -- but keep it grounded and realistic to an extent, this is just a seven year old's wet dream. Where are the fucking physics in any of these movies post Fast Five? Hell, even Five had questionable physics at the end with the safe, but they were QUESTIONABLE, not straight up bullshit such as driving upwards on a collapsing rope bridge. It's so sad to see it, that in my mind, Fast Five was the end -- and all this is just someone's comatose fantasy. Evolve, lol.

I think that is why this franchise has become so great. Even with all the ridiculousness that happened in the trailer, it's not even a distraction. It's awesome. And the Fast films are for u to turn off ur brain and just have fun. We need those kind of movies in this world.
Looks fantastic! Also, that piano tune at the beginning was "See You Again", which got me a little misty eyed. Rock was probably busy shooting Jumanji 3 at the time this was filming so that's likely the reason for his absence, however I haven't seen Hobbs and Shaw yet and that might play into his absence. I guess Han survived that explosion somehow, I'm curious to find out. Also, what about Brian and Mia's son? Are we not getting anything about him in this one?

@@appal5052 in my honest opinion. He had a perfect ending for what they had to do storywise, but the only time they can bring him back with his brother/CGI is for when the franchise is ending. For maybe that final looking down shot or whatever to have him there with the team
GekkeHenk I meant more so if Paul was still alive, I would’ve loved his character to be with all of them. Right now I hope they never bring back Brian unless it’s a final shot like you said. Wouldn’t be fair to his sendoff in Furious 7.

Hi guys love this channel but just wanted to mention the Principal photography began on June 24, 2019, at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, England. Filming took place in Los Angeles, Edinburgh and London, and also took place in Thailand for the first time, with Krabi, Ko Pha-ngan and Phuket used as locations.
