@@yeagerist4979 that is also giving up your life for the purpose of something greater good. However I think Buddhist especially Hinayana philosophy would still disagree as 'love' or any sort of inspiration is actually a way to bind you to the world and a hindrance to the path of liberation.

The ultimate act one would say, the greatest gift you can give, another chance at life. I wonder what the rabbi was think when he did that? Did it torment the man who had accepted the rabbis offer? If the state of being (God) is all knowing and all powerful, why doesn't it just awaken in every man. Why play the game of disguise and allow alot of people act unconsciously(suffer). In other words if God is present in every man why does it play this game of being hidden and we need to try hard to discover it. Or those it mean that the play of disguise is actually what God wants? Does he really want to be discovered? If so why, not awaken in every man since he is all powerful.
you have to work to keep your physical body alive. why do you think something like GOD will come to you just like that? If God would awaken in everybody without anyone working for it, then people won't appreciate that experience. if there is any experience like that at all(which I do not know about so would not comment anything on the same)
