    1. Not focusing on one goal at a time
    2. Worked in support project/old technology for a long time
    3. Thinking I am critical resource
    4. Competing with colleagues
    5. Learning path & working project was different

    I agree with your findings. I have gone through all of them. One thing i did not go through is i did not compete with my colleagues. I want to add. Couple more mistakes, i did in my career. 1. Do not switch careers unless you are very passionate about it. 2. When decided to switch job, do not search lethargically. Get aggressive in finding the next job. Otherwise time will outdate you

    I made a mistake in learning AWS and Azure and also wrote certifications in it. But it didn't help me at all. My company asked for project experience which I never had as I was deployed into different technology. I invested time in learning cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) on multiple weekends but it led me to nowhere.

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Many people did that mistake, but don't worry in future it will give you an edge.

    IMHO not focusing on on goal is the most important by far. In today's world there are too many distractions.

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are right Youtischia, that is the biggest gap I am seeing. Discipline/ Focus is missing. Which tech is giving more package is driving.

    Hello Mr Happy. Thanks for the videos :) when they ask you to set goals for your career inside the company. Is it ok if the goals are learning new things? Or they have to be becoming a manager or something similar?

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      David, learning is a goal for you. When company ask you to write, then you have to write - for example: I will improve the code quality or I will add value by making a new software tool for customer and for this I will learn Java. Hope I answered your question.

    My btech passout year was 2013
    After passout I have done dot net course but after dot net I have prepared for IES but not get clear yet so I think I am going to make a carrier in dot net . I also attended many interviews but not get selected
    So that is my story,sir

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nitish, sure man, number of interviews doesn't matter. You I think got 1 attempt per year in IES. Here in .NET you will get many. Do some short project online, go through interview questions. And one day you will get it and then there is no looking back.

    @InterviewHappy What if you have 12-13 years of experience and you are getting promoted every 2 -3 years(sometimes every year) and getting good appraisal every year (12-15%) but you never won any awards? Is it concerning for your career growth or it is just to boost the morale of the employee that employer acknowledge your work and dedication. I see same people are awarded every year looks like they have same list of employees to give away awards.
    What is your point of view on this? Is it important to win any awards in your career?

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Diksha, my thinking is like Aamir khan, I don't believe in awards. They are mostly manipulated. If you are given some award, but not good appraisal or salary then what is the point. Vice versa is better.

    hello sir, i was a .net developer back in 2019; due to covid i lost my job; and now I have gap of 4 yrs from coding for personal reasons (tried supporting my parents in local business); however, due to financial shortage; i want to get back a job as developer; but have lost my coding skills; im learning .net core and angular; will i get a job as developer back again;

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great Sarvesh, yes you can... first focus on only .NET/ OOPS/ C# concepts not Angular. Give interviews, get a job in .NET... don't care about salary initially and later you will thrive..

      Also, want to ask; what package can i ask for; as i had 3 yrs of .net mvc experience; what is the package given for .net core +angular developer right now; i wanted to know thanx;

    Can I learn SEO while working as a software developer. But I haven't any project regards,

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Arlo, sure I also learned SEO once, then UI-UX also. If it is your interest then do it anyway, but from job perspective SEO and coding are two different things in tech.

    Hi Sir, I m in cognizant and working in dot net projects.. Everything was allocated by default.. So I learned it.. But my interest is towards Data analytics.. What steps I should take to get in this project

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First step is to learn Data analytics. Then start talking to current manager, other projects about that.

    Hi Sir, I have 9 years of experience 7.8 years in development (.Net & Sitecore) and 1.4-1.5 years now as Manager. I am not able to come out of this role. I am mentally broken. Please suggest 🙏

    Hi i was in development for 8.5 years. I switched to service team from product based due to pressure. Now i am working in support ( only excel work ). I am trying to switch another organisation, but due to 90 days notice period . No one is ready to schedule interview for me
    Please suggest me how to come out of that dead lock

    • @interviewhappy

      Hi Prakash, I agree and this is a problem

    • @pragyasharma3739
      @pragyasharma3739 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's correct its really a problem
      Companies put 90 days notice condition on offer letter but they want themselves want other people to join their company immediately 😢
      Not sure how to break that deadlock.
      But try to perform outstanding in your interviews and ask company if they have buy out options they hardly do only in case if they need urgent joining and interview went awesome they might do ,but there is recession going on hardly anyone giving hike or interview calls it could be also the reason.

    Hello Sir, I am working in service base small company, I am working in .net and react js, and as service base company I have to give interview in other company as they provide dedicated developer, But I can't crack interview in company.give me some tips.
    Thanks in Advance

    • @interviewhappy
      @interviewhappy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Arun, Keep giving interviews, prepare for important questions first and focus on OOPS C# first. Revision before interview is very very important. I have seen candidates have cracked a interview after failing in 30 interviews. Never ever give up.
      My best wishes with you.
