This is an American joke - Strawberry Marshmallow | 苺ましまろ Anime : ichigo mashimaro #ichigomashimaro #anime #susmoments #animefunnymoments @Shirahoshi17
I see everyone is confused here by why this is an "American Joke". I'll explain it. The joke itself really makes no sense. And that itself is the point of the joke. She is making a statement that has nothing to do with anything and makes no sense, and basically saying the teacher doesn't understand it because it's an "American Joke". "American" doesn't actually have anything to do with it. She could have chosen any foreign nationality; "This is an Italian joke. This is a German Joke. This is an Australian Joke". Take your pick. The idea is, the teacher doesn't understand the joke because it's supposedly a foreign joke. Of course, the teacher wasn't fooled by this and sent her into the hallway. So that's the story. It's not something Americans are going to magically understand. She just made up nonsense and tried to trick the teacher into thinking it was a foreign joke. America is just the nationality she chose to use.
Nah... lots of shows reference "American joke," and they don't do it with any other nationality. Nichijou comes to mind, when Hakase is giving birth and Nano wonders if this is some kind of American game
If you take 2 apples you will say "I take 2 apples" and not "I take 2 times apples". But in mathematics, if you take 2 apples, you take 2 times apples (or 2 times one apple). That is the same here, there are two 2/3, which in mathematics can be translated as two times 2/3. (sorry if my english is bad)
@@skylix9024 Notation is very important, it should be read as 2 + 2/3, "and" is addition. I hate mixed numbers. It more of a verbal way to speak about quantities in everyday life than to actually use in mathematics.
As an American, I can confirm this is an American joke.
"yeh ta"
*sits down on a rolling chair*

Oh. Ichigo Mashimaro, blast from the past
As a russian, i did not understand the joke. Too american.
I haven't done kid math in so long. Is it 2 "AND" 2/3 or is it 2 times 2/3. Either way the notation is stupid.
Its 2 and 2 thirds + 1 and 3/4, so the result would be 4 and 5/12.

誰かが私のためにこのアメリカのジョークを翻訳できますか?
As an American, I don't get.
It doesn't help that most of the text is not in English.
I think they probably changed it 😂
Real one was related to 9/11 incident 💀💀
