Man, it’s never good to hear you’ve had a seizure but it’s sure as hell inspiring watching how quickly you recover! I wouldn’t have been able to tell anything happened last night. You look healthy, well-spoken, and ready to take on the next day!
Hello Friend! Thank you :) I try my best to move on quickly after a seizure. Although I know I should rest...resting makes me feel as if I'm wasting a day :/ It didn't even occur to me that I had a seizure until I saw my mom on my bed and my sister next to me writing an email to my neuro. Seizures are weird, man. When you're going into it, you know whats happening, but coming out of it is a completely different story. Nothing makes sense lol
Electric Epileptic I always find it so wild how alike yet dissimilar we are. I always know what’s happened when I wake up, but I never know anything going into it. For some reason when I am post-ictal it’s all that does make sense! I could tell people over and over “I just had a seizure, this happens all the time” but not answer any of the “coming to questions” if you will. Freaking brains.
Angelina Perrino We’re totally flip-flopped. Hahahaha oh my god, I hate those questions. “WhOs ThE PrEsIdEnT?”, “WhAt YeAr Is It?”....dude, I don’t know. I always answer Obama and...2018? I think. I understand why we should be asked those questions, but I think it’s best when we’re left alone and just talked to. Coming-to, my mom just talks to me until my full consciousness comes back and I’m “awake”.
Electric Epileptic hahah yes exactly! One time EMTs asked me the date and I go “why would I know that”... I saw in your sisters video that they ask you your name, that’s a good one. I feel like I usually know that 😂
