  • Guelb er Richat, also known as the Eye of Africa, is a geological structure in the desert of Mauritania. The crater is about 100 million years old and has a diameter of 45 km. It's best visible from outer space.

@Jordan Williams the foundations of the jedi temple are said to have been built on a dark side nexus also.... just becasue a fictional story mentions a place doesn't mean it exists in any way in real life. Timaeus and Critias were monologs of a tale someone told Plato and he wrote it down. Plato wrote clearly fictional tales... everyone concludes he fictionalized Socrates conversations in dialogues. If you are willing to invent and fictionalize one part of your tale the rest is no longer credible as hostorical or fact based. Also he is famous for allegory insertion as well. But all thay aside it is just a tale he supposedly heard.
Star wars, lord of the rings, or even fictional tales based more in reality often explain the origins and history of things that aren't and never were real for the reader. Atlantis is a story.🤭😅

I suspect this is know as Atlantis. I mean, on some of the oldest maps of the area it shows the ATLAS mountains to the north. Atlas was the first born son of Poseidon, who is said to have built the capitol city. And on some of those same maps, it says, “Atlantes” right where the Richat structure would be! They just dont want to credit Africans again. They are still trying to claim ancient Kemet (Egypt) as a white civilization, and it clearly wasn’t, except for 300 years at the ass-end of its 3000 year history. The Ptolomaic ‘dynasty’.
