The education of young boys and men definitely needs addressing, however that is a very long term plan. In the mean time we need deterrent, that means proper support for females (or any victim of crime for that matter) and proper sentences for perpetrators.

From the fact that he did this act so slick, it can be also concluded that is a pre-meditated behaviour which he have been doing...as such, I'm in agreement that he should be interrogated some more to see if he has more crimes on his plate.....if you listen to his voice again in the telephone conversation he had this level of comfort and control in his tone...didn't sound "shakey" for his first kill....so in my estimate, this is not his first incident.
