Aaron was me at the beginning of my food service job. It doesn't take long for it to beat the quiet out of you, and you become as snarky as Nichole.
Every quiet kid thinks they're an Aaron, the overwhelming vast majority of them are not. My advice? If you're fantasizing of clapping back instead of clapping back, you're not Aaron. Because it means you wanna clap back, you know you're allowed to but lack the actual backbone to do it.

I worked in the industry from 16 to 22 and that shit turned me into a man. I used to get severe anxiety talking to people, from food runner to host to server I was FOH all the way. Now public speaking is second-nature. I hate the industry but I love how it molded me.
These characters are played so exquisitely that you almost forget its a one man skit. Just perfect all around

When I worked in a restaurant as a "server's assistant" (that place's name for a busser) I had a lot of problems with lazy servers, but the bar tenders a cooks loved me. One day I was having stomach problems and the manager said she didn't care how sick I was I needed to come in. That night the head chef sent me home with a quart of soup and orders to actually drink water. I still had to work but the head chef took care of me. The guy under the head chef, showed me the best places to hide if I needed a minute to chill and get my emotions out. When they found out that one of the cooks went to high school with me and vouched for me, I was officially in. At one point they noticed a new server was eating my snacks and thinking I wouldn't notice. I noticed. The chefs took care of the issue and on my last day (manager lied about their flexibility with me going back to college and mostly taking night classes, and tried to keep me on the night shift when I asked to be put on mornings, they instead removed the morning shift entirely), the chef made me one of my favorite dishes and added extra fries for free (I almost exclusively ordered off the kids menu because it was an expensive restaurant) and to celebrate I order one of the pastry chefs best cakes and the guy I knew from high school helped add all the fixings.

I love the character developments in these skits. Following their stories and growth in the restaurant is so much fun. I was so proud of Aaron; had the biggest smile on my face watching him tell them off. So happy for him.
Also, seriously agree with others. I often forget it's one guy doing all the characters because each are portrayed so well. Definitely one of my favorite channels. ❤

Too much free food from the chefs because they knew the owner wasn’t paying my brother and I much under the table (under age restaurant job); Dishwashing, bussing tables, cashiering, serving, food prep, catering and etc et al for $100-200 a week (this was back in the early 2000s, before someone calls Dept of Labor) 😅

I never had the kitchen on my back much, but I did volunteer to work the line and cleanup after when 2 line cooks called in. I did most of the jobs the other linecook didn’t want to do (lot of chopped onions and garlic).
After that, my job was smooth sailing with the manager and the head chef. They both offered me and a date a free meal. It was awesome.

This is the most entertaining sit-com in any medium, bar none. The consistent quality of the writing, pacing, and acting would be astonishing on their own, but the fact you perform it all on your own, creating a massive cast of unique, engaging, believable, relatable characters of both genders is nothing short of miraculous. As a lifelong Headchef i have to admit after 20 Years of Experience ALL of your Clips are 100% accurat, it sometimes feels like you worked at my Place lmao. The drain grate shifted as she stepped on it and that can took a dive into the fryer.
This little bitty girl knew what was coming next there was a guy sweeping the line instead of running past him she picks him up and carries him away from that oil bomb.
I've seen a lot of stuff in kitchens but that was something else.

I was rolling silver wear with a young female and one of the ugliest middle aged cooks was trying to flirt/roast her. She was clearly uncomfortable and he wouldn’t let up so I stepped in and said, “man quit while you’re behind ain’t nobody interested in you.”
He came out from behind the line and asked me if I’m on, I asked him if he wanted to be on the floor. Dude puffed out his chest and said “here it is! I’m not gay!” And walked away.
I yelled back “thank gods for that, we don’t want yo ass! Ladies he’s all yours!”
This gave the female server some confidence and she yelled back “oh hell no we don’t want him either!” Everyone on the line erupted and all of a sudden he lost interest and got quiet.
This and the walk in is glorious
