I feel sorry for Richard Wright since he was kicked out of the band while the album was being created. He was trying his hardest to get back in. Roger should have let him back in. On the flipside, being kicked out of the band and then hired on as a paid musician meant that he was the only member of Pink Floyd to actually profit from the tour - the band itself lost money.
Davids voice sounds so powerful!! Such an amazing voice! So clean and in tune, but still able incorporate that distortion so well. And, of course, as always, the man couldnt change one note in his guitar playing to make the song sound any better. His note placement is impeckable!!

This is one of my favorite songs of The Wall album. The vocal delivery, bluesy guitar riff, funky bass line, the groove of it all... it just screams proto-grunge to me. Maybe not the punk or metal side but the blues side for sure. I love it!

Everyone played their role perfectly Gilmour rocking out the solo + backup bits Roger grooving out with that juicy bass tone Richard Wright doing a organ solo Nick Mason providing one hell of a beat All the backing musicians did great too :) The background vocalists during the solo were really intense
