- On June 4, 2011 Jared Padalecki announced his twitter account, @JarPad. Jensen Ackles still does not have twitter.
WinchesterBros.com has received an exclusive video from Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles and Clif Kosterman. Jared and Jensen want all of their fans to know that they "do not have any affiliation with any online social network." Jensen states, "There's some frauds out there and its not us, so don't be duped." They recommend their fans to follow their bodyguard Clif Kosterman who is bodyguard4JandJ on twitter. Oh how the tables have turned
This is a great idea, and I hope that this video reaches as many fans as possible. Yes, it is sad that it had to be made, but in my opinion, it was necessary, especially considering how those fake people lure young fans into meeting them. Also, I can understand that they're annoyed.

Thank God the girl wasn't hurt. I'm so glad that Jensen and Jared care so much about their fans that they're willing to do this. The video is NOT lame. The guys rock for doing this.
That was nice of them to take the time to make sure fans have got it right, and aren't getting false info. The fact that they had to make that sort of announcement is a sad testament to how nuts some folks can be. It also means Clif was concerned enough to tell J2 about this issue. Good guy....bodyguard even in cyberland!

Things like this just show that Jensen and Jared are genuine class acts. To take the time to sit and make a video addressing an issue that puts some of their fans at risk is a prime example that they are great guys.
To the fans out there falling for the fakes, never believe such things. 100% of the time it is not them.

So when I heard there were twitter accounts with their names I knew they had to be fakes because the guys wouldnt lie to us.

@sashathepanda Jared Padalecki does not have a Facebook account. As the video shows with the latest update, he does have a verified twitter account with @jarpad, but he still does not have facebook.

I believe they're doing that, too - but this was a way to go specifically to the fans, as "proof" - rather than just have it continually be people saying that "No, Jared and Jensen don't have these accounts."
Now, people can just respond w/a link to the video and say "See - here's the only answer you need, straight from the guys themselves. You don't have to take our word for it!"

I'm happy they took the time out to address this as well. For all those complaining, it doesn't even make sense. They are trying to help with preventing people from believing predators and what not and it has nothing to do with anything but that and you guys are acting like they are trying to get attention.
