I am struggling with that too, but I've also prayed for strength to forgive the person who mistreated me. God can give us power if we are His to overcome our hateful feelings and to give us His peace, God bless! ❤️
God knows all of our ways and sins and will forgive them all. He knows that we are only gradually becoming, like Him, but will never attain that which we strive for. Let us push forward and continue to lean on the Holy Spirit for guidance, forgiving anyone who sins against you. In doing so, we are able to reflect the light of Christ, which has been poured out upon us, and bring others who have not received Christ to a closer point in receiving life and peace that comes with surrendering to Him.
so true. I am also having a hard time to forgive. Even though I forgave him but still, he chose to hurt and betray me for almost 8 months. I met Jesus, in July, and every single time I hold my Bible, OR ANY BIBLE, and ask Jesus, to show me a passage, i open it to the Samaritan Woman at the Well. I have denied Christ and the meeting we had, I have not been faithful to the experience of meeting Him; but that all changes after seeing this sermon. I met Jesus. He took away all my depression, all my sadness, all my suicidal ideation (which I have had since I was a little girl), and he washed me, made me clean, and gave me a new heart. In the last few weeks I have been getting depressed again, fighting with people, and not right. I have been feeling distant from Jesus, and not knowing what to do, so I searched TH-cam for “forgiveness,” because there are many I need to forgive, and cant seem to move past the pain they’ve caused me. AND what does Jesus bring me to? The Woman at the Well. Jesus is real. I know it wasn’t just a dream, forgiveness is real, but it all starts with forgiving ourselves and accepting Jesus died for everyone, not just us, but everyone; so, forgive everyone, as Christ has forgiven you. ❤❤❤ And thank you Father, for washing me clean, in Jesus name, Amen!

Mitchell C you read the word but you don’t understand it the Bible never says that the kingdom will be set up on this earth the Bible says this earth is passing away and this earth will be destroyed “And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” I John 2:17 “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.” Revelation 21:1 You say that Jesus never claimed to be God but yet in His own words He did and His followers all said He was God and never once did He deny it. And if you say Jesus is not God then His sacrifice would be nothing on the cross because only God is perfect and only God is sinless but yet the Bible says that Jesus is without sin and that He was the sacrifice that He took away the sins of the world so that if we repent and believe in Him we would have everlasting life but if you say Jesus is not God then you deny the cross and what He has done for you and if you deny the cross you deny life read the word with understanding and discernment and if you don’t have it then ask God to give it to you so you may understand. God knows all of our ways and sins and will forgive them all. He knows that we are only gradually becoming, like Him, but will never attain that which we strive for. Let us push forward and continue to lean on the Holy Spirit for guidance, forgiving anyone who sins against you. In doing so, we are able to reflect the light of Christ, which has been poured out upon us, and bring others who have not received Christ to a closer point in receiving life and peace that comes with surrendering to Him.

I met Jesus, in July, and every single time I hold my Bible, OR ANY BIBLE, and ask Jesus, to show me a passage, i open it to the Samaritan Woman at the Well. I have denied Christ and the meeting we had, I have not been faithful to the experience of meeting Him; but that all changes after seeing this sermon. I met Jesus. He took away all my depression, all my sadness, all my suicidal ideation (which I have had since I was a little girl), and he washed me, made me clean, and gave me a new heart.
In the last few weeks I have been getting depressed again, fighting with people, and not right. I have been feeling distant from Jesus, and not knowing what to do, so I searched TH-cam for “forgiveness,” because there are many I need to forgive, and cant seem to move past the pain they’ve caused me.
AND what does Jesus bring me to? The Woman at the Well.
Jesus is real. I know it wasn’t just a dream, forgiveness is real, but it all starts with forgiving ourselves and accepting Jesus died for everyone, not just us, but everyone; so, forgive everyone, as Christ has forgiven you. ❤❤❤

You say that Jesus never claimed to be God but yet in His own words He did and His followers all said He was God and never once did He deny it. And if you say Jesus is not God then His sacrifice would be nothing on the cross because only God is perfect and only God is sinless but yet the Bible says that Jesus is without sin and that He was the sacrifice that He took away the sins of the world so that if we repent and believe in Him we would have everlasting life but if you say Jesus is not God then you deny the cross and what He has done for you and if you deny the cross you deny life read the word with understanding and discernment and if you don’t have it then ask God to give it to you so you may understand. Without the Holy Spirit it is impossible to understand the word of God

I could go on, from genesis to revelation the Bible declares that Jesus is God to deny that is foolish the very reason Jesus was crucified was because He declared Himself God so do you believe or do you deny? I cannot force you to believe but the Truth is clear if you deny the Son you deny the Father so you deny life please choose wisely Jesus loves you He went to the cross for you God bless you and may His wisdom and understanding guide you.
