    A lovely review and can't believe it your first. I viewed it a couple of times but decided to go for the ThinkTank Urban Access 15, as it had dual side opening, which suits me more for my travel needs. I was quite keen on Tenba Axis V2 24 or the 32 L options, but not having the side opening was my only gripe. I wish one such variant from Tenba is released soon.

    A little trick I use for the front pockets. Weave the zip pull tabs through each other. Just something that in theory would slow down someone trying to open the zipper without me knowing.

      That’s a great travel tip! I’ve mainly used it on outings with minimal people around but will be sure to do that in future!

    This is a neat review! And it's great that you use the equipment too as opposed to the other TH-camrs that don't actually use equipment.

      @@justsomecrop It was useful as I was on the market for a new camera bag. Ended up purchasing the Protactic BP 350 AW II but I would've purchased the Tenba if I saw your video first.

    Simple & awesome review! I have the Tenba Axis 24 V1. Was curious about what the new version had in the way of improvements.
    This review was really helpful.

    Thank you for this! I love Tenba bags but there isn’t a lot of info about the V2 bags. Congrats on the channel!

      Thank you! I found the same thing when researching it prior to buying. It's why I made the video even though no one knows me or wonders what my bag is... I just thought others might find it useful. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!

    Awesome video, thanks for posting! I grab the 20L and found it to be just a shy too small, and only fits a 14 in laptop. The 24L looks to be the right size. Next video it would be nice to see the bag on you; and height for reference. I find it difficult to find good reviews that show women wearing camera bags and how it fits on smaller frames. Congrads on the new channel, wish you the best of luck!

    • @justsomecrop
      @justsomecrop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that was my frustration with some bags too. It’s hard to find the right size balance for smaller frames. I’ll keep your recommendation in mind for next time, thanks! I’m sure a video in the future will show me with it on but to have it all in one video would definitely be better.

    Great video! I just picked up the 20L and can’t wait to load it up and take it out. I do wish the side access hole was a little bigger-I have to stretch it vertically a bit to get my camera w/ grip out (it’s about about 5.5” tall gripped). But it feels super sturdy and looks like it will swallow up everything I own if need be and handle the weight no problem. Good idea on the camelback! I was trying to figure out how I might incorporate that on a longer hike. Awesome bags. I bet if you put the rain fly on it reflector style you can use it to bounce flash.

    • @justsomecrop
      @justsomecrop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks heaps! That's a fair comment about camera size. I don't have a battery grip on my a7iv to make it hard to pull out, maybe the R1 would also have the same issue?
      Yeah I've found it handles weight fine and have never found the straps feel weak when picking it up or moving it either.
      I also put the camelback in the front zipper compartment as it is so deep, but that would depend on your weight distribution preferences.
      I hadn't thought of using a relative fly to bounce flash but that would be a neat trick for some types of photography while keeping kit to a minimum!

    Awsome video! I've never heard of Tenba before this video. I am curious to know your thoughts on the Shimoda Explore V2 OR PGYTECH OneMo backpacks. I myself just ordered the latter and super excited for it to arrive but I know both these bags are loved by many photographers and wanted to know your thoughts on them? Congrats on the launch of the channel :)

      Hi Philip. I too, am considering the bags you mentioned, plus the LowePro ProTactic BP 450 AW ll for my mid-sized Nikon Z kit. If you received the PGYTECH OneMo, I'm curious how you like it, and what kit fits in it. Thanks!

      @@philipmicallef997 Congrats on your new OneMo backpack! 35L is a bit too large for my needs, as I don't travel/hike with a laptop or a DSLR. (I use a smaller Nikon Z7 kit, which is why I am considering the OneMo 24L V2.)

    Nice review. Do you have new thoughts now after a year of using the bag? I'm considering either the 24L or the 32L. I have tons of gear I carry when flying and later on I can leave some of it in the hotel/car. Do you think the bag adapts to being more than just a camera bag? All of the reviews just relate to the camera gear carrying ability, but not much more.

    • @justsomecrop
      @justsomecrop  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks mate! Appreciate it. After a year I'm still super happy with it. It does require some rejigging occasionally if i'm trying to pack everything in there since buying a drone and extra batteries for it. While I don't use it as a "round- town" camera bag unless I really need to carry a lot of gear, it is great in the back of my car as part of my camping setup and at home I keep the majority of my gaer there when stored and just have a smaller camera bag for say use or small shoots. I haven't flown with it though so am no help there I'm afraid. Hope that helps. Thanks for dropping a comment!

    Excellent review of this Tenba Axis V2 24L Backpack! It actually looks a bit large, but then again, I'm considering the LowePro ProTactic BP 450 AW ll backpack, which is probably a bit smaller than this Tenba Axis 24L. I know that the LowePro uses a similar Molle System on the exterior. Have you any experience with the LowePro ProTactic line, and if so, how would you compare the build quality and comfort level of these two companies' backpacks? Thank you.

    • @justsomecrop
      @justsomecrop  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven’t got any experience with the low pro bag, but did choose the 24L Tenba Axis bag due to its larger size as I like taking a full kit with charging capability easily. My only other bag is approximately 16L so I was like for a larger jump and wanted my laptop to be able to fit inside. If you don’t have the same considerations then maybe the low pro bag would suit, or alternative there are smaller versions of the Tenba Axis… or tonnes of other bags. I went into a few camera store a to compare the bags directly when I was purchasing.

      I have the lowe pro 450, this bag is more square and has more room, both same quality. I just got The Tenba Cineluxe Backpack 24” which better than these two. Its offers a better quick access to ur gear plus it looks better
