Well done, my son and I have just cycled the KAW, and started in Porton near Amesbury, so pretty similar to your schedule. Your video encapsulates the real experience and I admire the way you kept your sense of humour/calm in adverse conditions. Unbelievably neither of us had a puncture all the way round, unlike your snags. My son never fell off but I came a cropper several times on the Ridgeway in those awful ruts. The worst off was when I fell off near Frensham common into a very thorny bush, oh the joy! my son couldn't stop laughing. I did it on a Boardman ADV 8.9 Ebike, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We did it over 5 days staying in B&B's/ Hotels which made the load lighter, so once again well done in completing it the way you did. Thoroughly enjoyed your video
Hey Peter. Thanks for watching. Great that you did it too - yes lots of sand around Frensham which made it tricky for us to stay on the bikes for long but avoided any thorny bushes. We are currently riding uk to Istanbul. Almost half way. Lots of e-bikers here - just a thought for your next adventure?! Zoe
