If I am not mistaken, both Ruka and Asa can sing. They both sang for the BLACKPINK dance mission. Also, if you look at the clip where Yang Hyun Suk is saying that BABYMONSTER will not be a 7 member group, it is the same clip that they use over and over. So technically he only said it once but I think that just want to keep emphasizing that it is supposed to be less than 7. There is also a lot scenarios of how this could turn out but seeing all of the members together from October 2022 to recently gives a lot more hope that they remained a 7 member group. I won't guarantee that they are 7 because this is YG and we can't be sure until they debut. BLACKPINK was set to be a 5 member group but Miyeon (Yes, the same one from (G)I-dle) dropped out of the group. I don't think that anyone knows the exact details but that did happen. I prefer the 7 trainees being "eliminated" from BABYMONSTER so that they can become the 7 MEMBERS of BAEMON. Then YG wouldn't technically be lying about BABYMONSTER never being a 7 member group, the 7 members get to stay together, and we get a better name for the group. I think that the outcome that a lot of people want is that YG changes his mind and debut the group as 7 members under BABYMONSTER which is also fine. Either way I don't care because I am here to cheer on the members and not the group name. And the other preference is that they debut as OT7.
