Recently, many popular alternate art cards have been sinking in price along with several vintage chase cards selling for well below their pandemic highs. In this video, I highlight a wide variety of Pokemon cards sales including vintage, modern, Japanese, and even some sealed products. Lately, the market has been extremely volatile, with auctions providing some interesting data points for Pokemon investors and collectors. I have a question. I asked another guy too. My daughter pulled the moon one from a Walmart pack I got for her stocking. We have had it a couple years now. I am a sports card guy. If I see something that has a chance at a black label I send to BGS. I told her to just send it to PsA and be done with it since she is not Interested in selling it atm. Idk any thought on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
A black label Umbreon would be worth much more than a PSA 10; however, anything less than a black label wouldn't be worth sending to BGS over PSA. Obviously, if you don't care about the value, choose whichever slab you like best.
It’s definitely hers. I am not going to push her to sell it. At this point she just really like the card. I just want to protect it and give it the most value when/if she decides to sell it. I wish I could post pictures on here. The boarder on the back is 100% 50/50 everywhere with no white marks. The front of this card I’m not sure where they are taking the left boarder edge from. Do you have an instagram or something? I could send some picture to see if maybe you could show me the left boarder area. My girls have been collecting pokemon for awhile. They are 13-15 now. They have some really neat stuff but this is the big one. They are reallly sucking me into the Pokémon cards. The art is amazing to look at. I’m alittle too old for pokemon. I was the Magic the gathering OG generation. 😂Thanks btw in appreciate the help.

I wouldn't worry about this, its just a price correction. Wait until autumn/winter 2024. The modern cards will move up again.
Pokémon singles generally drop in winter due to people saving for holidays

@@austinwasson7226they drop in the summer, now is the time to buy. When the weather turns in the autumn prices tend to rise again, so that's the time to sell.

PSA 10 original Lugia price had a long way to come down but the BGS 9.5 has actually been a shiner since boom. It got as low as 2k but is back up to 4 with multiple sales.

I bet it’s just consolidation. Nothing goes straight up to the right forever without pauses and temporary drops. All will be fine and soon enough people will be saying I should have bought the dip 😊😊😊😊

Prices continued to rise between 2008-2016 then pokemon go hit, there was a dip in interest when ppl stopped playing pokemon go but was already climbing again when LP opened up his 1st baseset box
