+EthT same over here mate, Matt halpern and greiner and Luke holland, Alex rudinger .. are all so damn genius but travis and sir garstka set new limits
You're probably right, although TH-cam is so saturated it's a crapshoot whether or not my popularity would consequently rise. Moreover, with such videos, people tend to favor lots of angles, fancy panning and lighting, even costumery; I've always been very no-frills and straightforward in filming sessions and stuff. I film damn near everything I do, and post it here when the project is complete. It is then interesting to consider that in a way, I've sort of put myself out there as a session drummer--even though I'm also committed to other things--since that comprises the bulk of what I do. It's like one session begets the next, and it has culminated to this year being the busiest/most booked I've ever been. I can surmise that if I put myself out there as a 'cover drummer', contrastingly, it would beget requests for more covers. The main focus should be to stay busy doing something you love, something for which you are impassioned. I love playing music - the more unique/idiosyncratic, original, quirky, etc., the better. I could join a cover band, there are many options where I reside; it was never of interest to me. I'm happy and fortunate to be in my current situation.
What's amazing dude, is that I find a ton of bands where I say "damn this drumming is fucking sick!" and 5 times out of 10 its you. WTF MAN! SAME SOME TALENT FOR THE REST OF US!!!!!
Your drumming is incredibly well done. You're a huge inspiration and your flat flam workout is starting to pay off in my own drumming. Thanks for the help!
Once again a great session. looking forward to the next vid! Deffinetly gonna buy some lessons from you once my paycheck allows it! Thank you for being a great inspiration that keeps me on the kit!
Cheers! This is an old template, I feel with my new gear and new template settings--courtesy of my pal Taylor Larson, of course--it's sounding better than ever.
Amazing stuff as always! Do you have any tips for approaching breakbeat and drums n' bass type grooves? I'm a big fan of how you go about it with ItsTeeth material for example haha
Great stuff Travis!
Another masterpiece. Domo-arigato Orbinator-san _/\_

+Felix Garstka Yes to all of them, but you forgot Haake :)
very cool song
Masterpiece.
This is a drug. I can't stop watching Travis' videos. I take my hat off Majesty. :)
There'll be another video next week so you won't have to come down too hard :)
No clue how you aren't way more popular. Easily the best metal drummer of out time, or any time maybe
If he would do drum covers of mainstream bands I'm pretty sure he'll be more popular

Thanks a lot! I'd say go back to the genesis of it all and shed some James Brown; that'd be a great start.
Whoa, this is crazy! :o
