  • This is my review of an interesting offroad motorcycle Beta Alp 200 manufactured in Italy. I have the chance to ride it in amazing nature of Tuscany and Italy and you go with me for a short off-road trip.
I hope in the future I will bring on my channel another review of Beta Alp 4.0.
This bike Beta Alp 200 can be classified as something like hobby offroad enduro or tourist offroad motorcycle if you want :)

I've just bought a 2018 Beta alp200 and i also have a CRF250L 2013, I can Confirm that the Crf 250l doesn't even perform as good as the beta Alp200. on the Alp200 it's like cheating, it's actually 118kg WET Vs 145kg! of the CRF250L and it's really constructed way better for offroad use than the 250l in every way. on the road you might get a top speed for 110km/h maybe slightly more but it's not intended to be a power house for road usage, its main purpose is this kind of terrain shown in this video with the ability to tackle road usage in a very calm way, you basically ride it trough town and on the streets, enjoying the view then hit the trails and have a blast, wonderful machine indeed.

Awesome review! Explains what the Alp 200 is made for. I think it´s a perfect match for beginners and also expert Riders in nearly all kind of terrain.

I live in the Dolomites and I use sometimes my brother's Beta Alp 200. This bike is easy to use and can get you everywhere. On the road is faster than a trial with a maximum speed of 115km/h. The engine is a popular and simple Suzuki air cooled 4 strokes with 17 hp.The spare parts are cheap. Awesome and intelligent bike. Very popular on the Alps. We have changed the pinion with a smaller one for a better use on very difficult trails. The maximum speed remains the same but the engine revs a little too high now. I have also a KTM 1290 Super Adventure, the other extreme of the off-road bikes 😂. In August I wiit do the TET trail in Albania... not with the KTM, but with the Beta with some mods.😊

I have the CRF250L and i pretty sure this little beta is by far better off road and in the trails, i’m tempted to get one and replace it with my CRF , the 4.0 is better in power but almost identical in weight to the CRF250l including seat height which to me doesn’t make sense to get that. On the road i think it will be ok for me if at least i can reach 100km/h with no problems, i don’t ride in highways anyway.

I had a beta zero 290 trials which was an outstanding bike, probably too powerful for most trials courses but a bike with fantastic feel and quality.
The alp 200 looks like the perfect replacement to me.
