- How many energy rares is too many? I'm not sure, but this deck had rares aplenty, and played out like a dream.

Well when i read Aether Revolt i expected it to be decent with the amount of energy generation in the set but seeing it in action is insane.
Casting a wrath to deal lethal damage is what control players have always wanted. LSV broke new ground here lol
I’ve cast several eot wraths for lethal, does that count? (Argivian Welcome, choosing White Sun’s Twilight, giving it flash (Arena-only mode card, Alchemy), then EOT x=10+, my turn, swing for lethal toxic, with all my mana up).
I've played against a UR Gladiator deck that used Repercussion to turn its wraths lethal.
@@seanmurphy3430 Oh, yeah, that reminds me… I was running a white black tokens deck recently, using vein ripper and reanimation stuff, and I did several lethal board wipes (drain two per creature dying).
What about that bonfire of the dammed that took out his team mate Brian Kibler?
This is one of the best non-cube draft decks I’ve ever seen. If I drafted a deck like this, I would never forget it
This and the legendary Selesnya Draft on Strixhaven are LSV’s GOATs
Archive Trapping Reid in OTJ and now the post Ugin asymmetric wrath on Nassif. LSV is making these early access events a lot of fun to watch.
Nice to see LSV finally playing some Commander! Too bad his opponents only had draft decks.
“Less emoting, more taking your turn” Made me laugh, that’s why mute stays on nowadays
White fireball is hilarious.
Luis over here playing energy card Pokémon and collecting them all
Getting the second wrath was crazy! Great deck and awesome to see in action
I wasn't high on energy before, but seeing you draft it twice now really has me changing my tune.
Aether Revolt is a disgusting card in draft, holy moly. I didn't think it was going to be impressed by it, but it's on the same level as Reckless Assault in IPA draft (another card that I saw "eh I guess it will be good" and then watched LSV absolutely dominate people with).
Yeah it looked exactly like a regular trap card before knowing a format but getting so much energy with it is just ao busted
What a shame, could've titled the video "Playing Amulet Titan in MH3 Draft"
that would've been so good lol
I listened to the set review on a long drive today. Awesome to see such an absurd first deck in action.
Assuming it hasn't been filmed at this point, it'll be fun to hear LSV talking about Aether Revolt on the Rares/Mythics review!
This will go down as one of the best draft decks ever, holy shit. what an absolute treat to watch.
This is just about the most ridiculous draft deck I've ever seen, wow!
My favorite part was when the wrath for 0 energy killed a token and triggered revolt for overkill
These MH3 games are the most fun to watch of any I've ever seen on this channel.
“It’s not like flooded strand is a busted card”
Meanwhile, every vintage cube draft video:
“Fetch lands are just busted.”
Lol, gotta love LSV out of context.
I know they don't really do entrance animations anymore, but Phlage not having one when Uro and Kroxa have their giant heads popping in when they're played is a little disappointing.
I loved this video, the deck was awesome! You even played one of my favorite limited players, Nicolai Bolas!
Hey LSV, when you're doing Arena streams would it be possible for you to move your camera down a bit so we can read the rest of the card when it is on the stack? Arean is my least favorite because reading the cards is so difficult, but when they are on the stack is the best chance to read an entire card. It sucks for new sets like MH3 where we don't know what the card does by the art.
I feel like you could have faced all of your opponents at once and still won
17:00 love přísloví opak
I wonder how many people sit in utter misery because it's LSV across the "table". (Referring to opp in game 1) 😂😂
Phlage was just disgusting, it felt like the rest of your deck was disgusting but Phlage alone was pretty much as disgusting alone as everything else going on.
I believe that the moment somebody isn't having fun anymore they should just be allowed to concede. I think the best games are the ones where neither players want to concede because the game is so exciting, and I believe that conceding the game when you know it's lost is a sign of respect, unlike some people that just run out the clock.
Holy shit this deck was awesome. 😂😂
Guide of souls is sad you don't consider it an energy rare
Literally Magic Christmasland
Maybe if opp #4 emoted slightly less and thought about their plays a little more you would have lost that.
Good game indeed.
Your go
Who could be the nprmtg account? Literally a journalist?
It's Terri Gross
Missing a Monster Energy pun title
What in the storm?!
Is shrieking drake not even a consideration with Genku? Two card combo that basically wins the game.
Turns on revolt every turn for turbo burn too
Really fun one!
Kinda unfair to have a constructed deck in draft, but...
Energy is gonna be overpowered in modern
Luis, you are awesome. Any chance you'll start doing more Arena content?
Would be amazing to see regular arena draft videos!
Shout out to Luis for actually pronouncing "aether" correctly 😆 Not a huge deal, but there is a tiny part of me that winces when I hear "ay-ther."
MUCH prefer Arena than other program... I can actually SEE the cards and their effects cause I don't know many of them while watching
.
I am reminded why I don't like draft formats that are such insular lanes. What I like about drafting is cobbling things together - especially in new and adaptive ways. But here, it seems like it's primarily just follow the lane your bomb or top uncommon leads you down. It is one of the things I find underwhelming about modern Magic design: every set feels so linear in its limited archetypes.
That being said, this is an absurd deck. Lol
