Thanks for your honest review. I bought mine a few months back, and I love it. I did change out the crank to a GRX and a new BBinfinite bottom bracket. Wheels are next. But that's the fun part, customizing your bike. Thanks again.
I have mixed feelings about the cranks, sure the GRX is better but I don't know if I'll notice the difference. I'm definitely looking at new wheels though.
Picked up an Advanced 3 about a month ago, and been loving it so far. That creaking may be the seatpost, make sure it's installed properly and torqued to the correct spec.
I ordered the Advanced 2 and a set of carbon wheels on 12/18. So excited. Been riding a Posideon that is just too big for me. I went to Pearland Cycles and the owner fit me on his FIT bike. The Revolt will be perfect. Can't wait.
I definitely wouldn't worry about the FSA crankset. If you've got the GRX rear mech and the GRX shifters then that's the main thing. Did you consider Cannondale Topstone or one of the Canyons (Grizl or Grail)?
Heard that on this ride and was thinking it's going to be either the seat post or the bottom bracket. Sometimes they come out for sale and there's insufficient lubrication. Good to hear a slight adjustment was all that it took.
thank you for honest review. it was nice to find some small bits that nobody talks abt. looking forward to buy this one soon!. still on sale :) any issues so far ? :D
Been commuting on a road bike for a year but do not feel that safe on it, especially in winter. Really liking the look of this but never ridden a gravel, hoping it will not be too much of a jump and hopefully not too much slower on the road but also want the option to do a bit more off road rather than going for another road bike and being more limited. Had been looking at the Ribble CGR Titatium but costs a bit more and not sure there's much advantage and the model you picked has been well reviewed.
To me, it has the same feel as a road bike with very little compromise but it allows you to go anywhere you want. Sure it isn’t as fast as a road bike if you’re racing your friends but in the real world you won’t notice the difference.

Great looking bike, congratulations! Enjoy

Sounds like the seat post needs some love. Carbon grip resolved the noise on mine.
Congrats on the new bike..

Good stuff
Did you work out what the creaking was? Interested as I'm about to buy one of these.
I think it ws the seat post. It dropped down a bit on the first rise, once I put it back up, the noise went away.

I've had a broken spoke but I've had those on all my bikes so I assume it's something to do with the way I ride.
@@steveallison3751 Thank you for reply. I see them in stock in UK but they have now full GRX system integrated for less than £2000

Could you tell me your height and what size bike you have please? , thinking og getting one myself 👍
I’m 6ft exactly. I got a size M/L and it fits me perfectly.
A car just wrote off my Defy Advanced. Thinking about getting the Alu Revolt but worried it might be a bit heavy.
If you're in Britain, you can still get the Advanced 2 for just a few pounds more than the Aluminium version.
If this is 2024 is it not a 12 speed?
It's a 2022 model. I'm not sure that there are any Revolts running 2 x 12 GRX yet.
Such a huge bike company yet has not figure out to hide that cable in 2023, heck Giant
Thanks for the review. Did you source the creak?
Pretty sure it was the seatpost but it settled and the noise went away.
