To those who don't know what 3 cushion is: It's the single most difficult billiard game and demands every skill a player can develop. It takes time and devotion to master it and requires tons of talent to become professional. Only snooker equals it in terms of technique, diversity and precision. I play 3cushion but a number of friends play 8ball and 9ball. When i join in I score much better than most exclusive pool players cause in 3cushion one developes a unique feeling of the table. Try it.
@JonasLind1987 You'll notice the shot at 1:32 he hits the rail before the 1st ball is contacted. Which means you don't have to hit the ball 1st, then 3 rails.
@sfxrules Agreed! this game requires so much more than the ability to pot. Note, the balls are heavier than pool balls and the cushions are less senstaive, even the regulation cloth isnt the same. In the UK billiards was the norm for many years. All the greats of snooker played billiards prior to snooker. Being similar to Carom (in some small respects) the player gained a greater knowledge of the table and went onto play better snooker.
three cushions, so far has about 8 systems including diamond sys and you have to know what english: above center of cue ball 1, 2, 3, 4 english and some more english below the center of the cue ball, if you want to become the master of the game you have to know them all.
not my first shot, but after a few hours playing the game for the first time, its not as easy as i make it seem either, but not too hard for people not to try! haha
@rumiyoceva The point is to hit One of the balls, three hits in the wall and then the other ball. Then you'll get points. But I understand that it looks really silly if you don't know the rules xD
its definitely a difficult game but not THAT difficult, lol your discouraging play, im also slightly above average at nine ball and 10 ball, but have scored 4 points in a row in carom the first time i tried, its extremely fun, the thrill of scoring a point is much more than when pocketing a 9 ball n such, much more fun to play, hardly any tables around here in FL though
@griffour20 me too, im a really good player at 8-ball, but in five pins billiard, i cant win a match! :@ i know this is carom, in five pins you have five pins in the middle of the table but is very related to carom, but you shot only one shot no matter what you do...

holy shit, this game is hard as nails, that guy us judging thiose angles, with like 5 cushion bounces!
no, they are about the same size, but heavier cues are recommended.
cool match, both players are the best
hi are the cues in 3 cushions shorter than pool cues?
It is the hardest ballgame in the world.

He cheated. There are no pockets on that table. j/k
excuse my ignorance of carom but this looks like the absolute most ridiculously boring variety of billiards ever...
Those guys are bad.
They can't even find the goddamn holes.
