পদ্মা সেতু হয়ে ২৩ রুটে বিআরটিসির এসি বাস । BRTC AC Bus । Padma Bridge.Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) has decided to launch buses on 23 routes in the south and west from the day after the launch of Padma Bridge. BRTC General Manager Major Moktaruzzaman confirmed the information.
BRTC wants buses to run on 23 routes for now. After a month, the number of buses will be increased according to the demand.
Moktaruzzaman said that for now, it has been decided to start buses on 23 routes. Later its number can be increased in terms of demand.
At present there are 16 BRTC buses plying on Dhaka-Khulna route and 2 on Dhaka-Jessore route. New routes are now being added to these old routes.
The buses that will run on the routes from June 26 will be AC buses. Later, however, BRTC has the idea of introducing non-AC buses.
Moktaruzzaman, general manager of BRTC, said the buses would be operated on 23 routes from various depots in Dhaka. Ashok Leyland buses brought from India in 2019 will run on these routes.
