How cool is this!?!? Nice to see that men never change...
People have forgotten that Snapper was Jill Abbots brother
Jill just mentiomed Snapper last week on the show!
A little Correction On The Title And Discreption: The Male Character is Snapper Foster not Brad Elliott, And Is Played By William Grey Espy not Tom Hallick!
Omg. Thank you - I thought I was wrong - glad another super fan caught this :)
Exactly and he went on to play Mitch on Another World...He was the best Snapper over David G
hasslehoft...
I turned 13 in July of 1990 and started watching YandR the month after, while on vacation, visiting family down in Augusta ❤
William Gray Espy was a favourite of mine
Me too!
I was a little girl when this episode played on Young and the Restless.
So was i but watched with my mom . Still do once in a while
William Gary Espy was the first of two to play Dr Snapper Foster until 1975. Afterwards, he was played by an unknown David Hasselhoff from 1975-82 and Y&R put The Hoff on the map long before Knight Rider and Baywatch.
OMG.... I remember this very first episode... In that tiny apartment or room.... But I was 12 yrs old and it was in March... Should have been in school... I don't remember having spring breaks back in those days. So, summer was when I would watch all the soaps. Snapper was so cute!
Y&R was the only soap opera that started at 4:30 pm, so you had enough time to return home from school. I gradually lost interest, so I stopped watching it by the end of the 1990s.
@@XyzXyz-mm9vq thanks for that info! Really, 4:30? Don't remember that at all. Especially in the summer. By that time, I was home alone and would get all house chores done so that when soaps started about 12:30 I was able to iron and fold clothes. Episodes were only 30 min long.
@0:19 - I WANT that floral mini-dress!
This is EPIC!!!! Thank you!!!!!!! 💟
Kind of reminds me of a young Harrison Ford
The First Sally On The Show! She also bore a Resemblance To Lauren Fenmore! The Gorgeous Lee Crawford! Pity she was So little On The Show! A Total of About 3 years! Sally certainly felt a little like a Prototype For Nikki!
Isn't this great?
Beautiful actress
A recent episode was playing on armed forces network in the chow hall. Me and another soldier were remarking on the comical over acting. It became a running bit. Finally out of curiosity, my research has lead me HERE to find out that this show has been on SINCE THE END OF THE VIETNAM WAR LMAOOOOOOOOO
Love this!
Fun Fact: The Original Y&R Romantic Square (Sally-Snapper-Chris-Greg) was partially Remade on B&B with Brooke-Ridge-Caroline-Thorne!!!! Down to the Rich Ingenue Moving out of Home After Discovering Her Lover's Cheating and Being R@ped!!!
Who is this guy playing Brock ?
Brock??? You mean Brad? Or Snapper?
He is laying on the couch provocatively.
I remember Snapper! Wasn't he a Dr. and was going with the character that Lauralee Bell played??
I believe Cricket (Lauralee Bell) would’ve been too young, came on the show years later, as a teen when Lauren, Tracy, Danny were there). In the early shows, Snapper was with Chris Brooks, part of the original Brooks family, which had 4 daughters. But he also was seeing Sally on the side.
Jill just mentiomed Snapper last week!!!!!!!!!
Brad would have been a little boy when this episode aired. Wouldn't have been able to kill a grown man with his bare hands or legs lol.
