Here is a tutorial video for the "Audition" dance in 42nd Street the musical. Choreography by Randy Skinner from the West End revival. Original Broadway choreography by Gower Champion.
Couple of edits from the breakdowns- In section 5 the Maxie Ford call and response is repeated 4 times. In section 8 the scuff hop step into the shuffle steps is repeated 3 times.

This is absolutely amazing, thank you!! 🤩 I’m doing this as a fun project with my Inter Adult class, and I spent 2 hours last night watching a slowed down video of a stage performance to try to notate the steps… every other tutorial I’ve found has slightly different choreography to the version I’m wanting to use. And then I found this! This is the exact choreography I’ve been looking for. You’ve saved me from another hour or two of slow video watching, pausing, and rewinding, thank you! 🙌

You are, quite literally, an angel for making and sharing this!!! You are such a talented, lovely dancer and teaching artist! I’ve wanted to learn the original choreography to this number for years, and thanks to you, now I’m able to learn it without having to slow down and take painstaking notes of all the official recordings (while most likely learning sections of the choreo incorrectly). Thank you sooooo much for making this video. You are about the only person who can teach this properly out of all the videos I searched on TH-cam. In properly i mean in a way that breaks down the steps in both a rhythm sound out and 8 beat count.
