It is:) Did you recognize the sign maybe? I have just put up a youtube channel myself. I used the same pictures I sent you earlier of the name sign for setting up a montage just to get started. If you have a look, and you think that music is really weird, then you are absolutely right. That is because even the music is diy first time as well :) Cheers!!

Nice job mate. One thing with nest boxes though - always good to put a hinged door in them. That way, when something dies inside you can clean it out if you need to. Also good if you need to evict rats or other vermin like Indian Mynah birds.

Another great little project Uncle K. However, if that flock of budgies that dive bombed you during the "race the brickies to get the roof trusses up" video come back, you'll have to knock up the bird house version of multi story block of apartments to fit them all in. 😆 Might need a bigger tree 😆

Great bird house, Uncle!!! Just one question....how will you clean it out between seasons?? Most birdhouses will have a removable floor, or wall, to facilitate a good clean out between uses.

If the birdhouse gets over-crowded, just add an extension. Just remember to get the proper permits beforehand :)

I think I figured out why you like using old timber .. your whole house appears to be metal--even the walls of your garage! Also, big ups for how clean everything is. I mean, even the plate over the electrical outlets is clean.

It's so dangerous to cut sheet goods like plywood on a table saw the way you did that. Never cut using the fence when the width of the board is way wider than the the edge against the fence. If you need to do that, make a sled or get a compound miter saw. Cutting pieces using the fence that are short side against the fence is a great recipe for kickback, which can result in even more broken ribs. At a bare minimum, don't use the fence and use your miter gauge.

I actually have the "neighbour issue with the birds shitting on the washing". - my neighbour to one side has the bird houses and feeders, and the one at the other side is in dispute about her washing!!!!!!🤪. I am in the middle, and I stay quiet and keep my washing indoors!!! I am thinking about making that neighbour another bird house - just like yours for Christmas 😜

Shouldn't the birdhouse be cleaned out every once in a while. Your birdhouse is solid and firmly secured; but no way to clean out the birdhouse when necessary. What say you, forknucklehead?
