I just wish some Berseria fans would stop putting down Zestiria because of Eizen's death. Edna had wanted it to for Eizen, and Eizen and Zaveid made a promise to each other back in Berseria. Since a lot of Berseria fans admitted not played Zestiria, I feel bad reading their comments blaming Sorey for Eizen... Sorey didn't know Eizen personally, and even Edna and Zaveid who loved him deeply thought that death was the only way to release him. Sorey the Shepherd in the game wasn't the same as in the anime. Here, Sorey, unlike Velvet, seemed more "balanced"... he has attachments, yes, but he doesn't hold grudges, and he doesn't condemn people for what they are even if they can't accept him. Velvet is supposed to epitomize "emotions" over reason (the debate in Berseria) but ironically she is only emotional toward her family's circumstances but more detached when it comes to friends. Sorey is the perfect opposite... he was an orphan raised by the seraphim, so his attachments were deeper for friends and his adoptive family. He treasures their bonds but he isn't as clingy as Velvet when it comes to family. Sorey knows how to let go when one needs to let go. And he can forgive almost anything.

You have to play a main character even though you already know his fate to turn into a dragon, Eleanor, Magilou, Rokurou are dead, it’s hinted the Rose is Rokurou and Eleanors descendant, resonance is a heritable trait. A certain seraph(Eleanor or Magilu reincarnation as a seraph) is looking over Magilou’s grave, and Laphicet is corrupted by Heldalf. While Velvet sacrificed herself to allow that world. Imagine a world where Velvet travels with Sorey... boy he could turn into a whole new character too
After playing Berseria, and recently doing all of the endgame for Arise, that part with Eizen and Zavied hits even more close to home ;-; Spoodler warning Especially when Eizen and Edna get to see each other again. Then have a joint boss fight that *kicks my ass so hard*
Bardock SkyWalker actually Berseria took place 1,000 years before Zestiria and since Eizen sent letters to Edna in Berseria, she is at least 1,000 years old.
