Wow, that is the correct amount of crinkle finish paint, I would have painted the bodywork red crinkle and filed the logo.

I don´t thing, to remove the heathers isolation wool and cover is a good idea. Middle engine cars have engine bay cooling problems, in some cases the engine bay can burn down.

Original grille and lose the 360 wheels and you’ve got a great car. It really needs those two features to finish it off. Otherwise great job!
