UBC Indigenous Math Symposium 2024 - Circle 2C

This session centered around various projects intended to support teachers in their endeavours to incorporate Indigenous perspectives in mathematics.Judith Koeller is a professor at the University of Waterloo and works on several community projects around building resources for teachers.Brandi Price is a We Wai Kai band member working as an Indigenous Literacy and Numeracy teacher in BC hoping to provide support for Indigenous students.Johanne Nielsen is Heiltsuk and is an Indigenous Literacy and Numeracy support teacher in BC.
