At least you were alone when you turned the heat up. I had a roommate who did this to me, and I HATED it. Literally i went from shivering to being (what felt like) put under a jet engine taking off. But I’m sure you’d be respectful to other people in the room 🤣🤣🤣

Makes me giggle. I’m from Seattle and moved to upper Wisconsin. Funny to say that Seattle is “freezing” bc I think of Seattle as super moderate/warm now that I’ve acclimated to the frozen tundra. Awww, LOVE your heart for taking your cats with you. I had a CJO I had to turn down in 2019 and am now reapplying and have 2 cats this time around - these little guys will 100% be with me if I have to move! They're family. Do you have any automatic feeders/litterboxes you recommend? :)

CT’s are great indoor pets even if you travel they are self sufficient and don’t need a constant babysitter just give them toys food water litterbox and they are good.safe travels

Girl! I just flew out of Dallas on Sunday and our flight was delayed 12 hours!! I wanted to cry because I was exhausted and traveling with my kids! We ended up changing our flight to Cincinnati and driving home to Columbus!
That’s the first time I flew American and we were in the last row because we transferred flights and the flight attendants were chatting the whole time about which airline has the best pay and benefits for their flight attendants! lol
What does the flight attendants charting have to do with anything..

who changes your van time when your flight gets delayed? is someone from the crew constantly updating the hotel staff on this so they're not left in the dark waiting around for you or is it just kind of up in the air whether or not anyone was courteous enough to keep the hotel staff in the loop? just curious
Its a like southern florida thing that they don't know how to drive, but then again when my fiancé went to get his license (he's from south africa that's why he just got it) he did his test in the parking lot with myself in the car and the proctor outside just giving directions. No one knows how to drive when it starts raining

Genuine question.. how do you pay bills when on reserve? Do you still earn a salary during that time
I am a shift worker and every 4th month we do 3 weeks of “spare” which is kind of like on call. It’s always a wild ride lol😅 I could work 21 nights straight or only work 10 out of 21 days. Hang in there and power through💜 How long do you go between one reserve rotation to your next scheduled reserve?

I've seen Kacey bid on open flights when she is on reserve. Are you able to do the same in Miami?
At least you can have some control of when you'll be working instead of being at the mercy of crew scheduling.
Kacey Cassady got in MAJOR trouble by American Airlines for posting a video of her parents flying on her pass after being exposed to Covid. The rules were if one person in group together tests positive the entire group can't fly. They flew anyway and Kacey laughed about it. She has been banned from showing her airline uniform on TH-cam. It is blurred out on old videos.
