Love the comparison numbers between the two balls. I think that should be a thing going forward for the channel. I'm not saying compare against different manufacturers but having a compare across product lines is very cool.
I completely agree. People seem to really enjoy the comparisons whether it's spin across multiple golf balls or just a head-to-head battle. Definitely more content coming like that soon
The older model was definitely firmer. So I definitely understand why it would not be good in cold weather. I think the new one actually wouldn't be too bad depending on the temperature.
Great review. I think you're really going to love the BX and BXS. They do everything the R models do but better. Little firmer and imo an even better feel. Both ball feel like they get absolutely launched on a pure strike. Misshits are forgiving. The spin is fantastic. Overall, best balls on the market id say. I will be LOADING up on the BXS models over the winter (i played the Tiger edition BX and had phenomenal results too. Same thing with spin. Theres less spin but enough on the BX model plus a little added yardage).
Well I apologize for the late response here. Now that we know the results of the X and the xs, I would say give the X another try if you haven't already. I got way better results with it
@GolfBallAddict I've played both this year and loved both. I wouldn't say I noticed enough of a difference between the 2 to favour one more than the other. I tend to go for the higher spin options because I've got the distance already. But both are phenomenal balls.
The difference between the balls seems to be minimal. I think your comment near the end of the video about my age going up and my swing speed coming down, the RX S would be my choice.
That's a great take. I couldn't agree more with it. Extremely close when it comes to results but that rxs it's just a little softer which will help with the forgiveness
Just watched the RX & RXS video back to back! I was fitted for one of the Bridgestone balls, I cannot recall exactly which but I think it was the BX, they are very difficult to find in UK pro shops, online you can get them for about £15 a dozen less than other tour balls if you look around! I just hated the ball though and they just get so shabby so quickly! Even in the practice bag they look tatty compared to others!
Good review. I'm playing the 2022 version because it's now on sale for $39.99. I really like the performance of the ball all around, although I have no way to test to see if it's longer than any others I've played. I'm a very short hitter, must have a really slow swing speed. Feels great off all clubs, including my mallet putter. Only gripe is it doesn't seem to be durable. Now that you've tested both model years, can you make a comparison? As always, thanks for all you do.
I can try to get my hands on an older one. The old review is kind of useless now just because different clubs were used and I had a different swing speed. I have to retest them side by side
When a company makes a higher spinning ball model isn't it really in the context of green side spin? Correct me if I'm wrong, it's not like they are saying it's higher spin on full swing long iron and woods, it's basically higher spin on full spin wedge shots so like 50-100yds. I know you don't really test that but it would be worth it as an extra info for your tier 3 subs :)
Great question. In my experience, that isn't the case. Usually if a golf ball company claims they have a higher spinning model, they're talking about full shots as well. The main reason for this is there a golfers out there who just spend the ball way too freaking much. They need a more distancing off ball to get some of that spin off there. Then you got guys like me who don't spend the ball enough. And I need the extra help even on full shots
I just buy used balls, all aaaaa ratings from sellers i trust. 48 of these or xs for $52. When i sort through them, I usually get 36-40 in perfect condition.
Hey if it works for you that's awesome. For me there's just too much inconsistencies. Sometimes you'll get some that are the previous model and some that are the new model. Also with the golf ball industry having so many fakes right now you can just never be too careful.
If you’re 95+ MPH, you shouldn’t mess with either R model in my opinion. With your swing speed, you realistically should be playing an 85+ compression ball.
Yeah it's taking me four years to finally get them down pat. There's a lot of companies, usually overseas ones that do stuff like this when it comes to names
I apologize in advance, I'm not sure exactly which two balls you're talking about. Are you talking about the RX and the rxs? Because I make that pretty clear when I get to the numbers testing. If you're talking about something else please let me know and I'll try to clarify
@@GolfBallAddict I keep posting that I buy Bridgestone golf balls on line for 3 dozen for 119 dollars, that breaks down to 40 a dozen which is a much better price.
Great review, as always! And I really liked that you put the two balls' data side by side. Cheers!
Thank you very much. Everyone seems to really like the comparison videos. I really do too.

Just started playing the RXS , very nice ball. I have the yellow version
Yeah the bridgestones or a breath of fresh air testing this year. Really enjoyed all of them. Couple of them were really prime for my swing speed
Merica!! Glad to see you did this one. Thank you!
Like, comment, popcorn and roll em...
Thank you very much for the support. Always appreciate it
Love the Grumpy in the background!
Lol thank you! Garage sale find, I only paid 2 dollars😁
Thanks for another great review:)
Thank you for all the support. That's star next to your name looks pretty cool too. 😃😁😎
Good review, past version of this ball works well for me when its warm, can't launch it in damp cold weather.
The older model was definitely firmer. So I definitely understand why it would not be good in cold weather. I think the new one actually wouldn't be too bad depending on the temperature.
Bridgestone has the best technology and patents in the world. Will not critisize them for whatever they do.
If that technology and patents are what's contributing to the amazing feel both off full swings and around the green then I'm all here for it 😁

Hey Nick looks like if I try these the RXS for me!
For sure. I'd like to get good enough to play one of these consistently

That's what I've heard. Honestly if Bridgestone could just get the durability up quite a bit this could be potentially a top 10 golf ball

@@GolfBallAddictdon;t go through the trouble you have enough going on.
Literally just bought a sleeve last nigjt
Nice. Let me know how it goes
Have you tested/reviewed the Bridgestone PHYZ golf balls from Japan?
I've never even heard of these. I cannot wait to look them up and see what they're about though 😁

Bridgestone is a good ball. I just didn't like the dirty netting look after a round . Looked like the ball was wrapped with a yellowish net.
That's what I experience too. That's a pretty huge mistake for a golf ball that cost a 50 spot for a dozen
Why is this bridgestone b rx review different than your other I neeed to know before purchasing
The old model and the new model are different. They made drastic changes this year. Even Tiger switched from the XS to the X
Oh ok makes perfect sense now how fo you know the difference I want to purchase the new ones in this video
If you’re 95+ MPH, you shouldn’t mess with either R model in my opinion. With your swing speed, you realistically should be playing an 85+ compression ball.
I agree 100%. I'm surprised because I'm actually really excited to test the other two models. Would love for one of them to really blow my socks off
@@GolfBallAddict I would almost put money on it that this will be the case.
I just wished they would change the model names. Very confusing.

You do not distinguish between which balls you are talking about. I play with e12's, But I heard e6 suites my game better.

" It is buttery.... Crispy .... Smooth!!"
Why is it I have the munchies after every one of his golf ball reviews? I just do not get it.
LOL also don't forget juicy, succulent, and delectable
