Thanks Jeroen! Always good seeing you. I love Chinatown and Wat Trai Mit, and is always one of the first areas I explore when I’m in Bangkok. The San Chao Mae Guan Yin shrine is very dear to me.
Hi Jeroen, it’s me here and I have something to say again! It’s been a wonderful trip for me this time and I’ve experienced so many memorable events. I am still here and being able to celebrate both the New Year and the Chinese New Year this time will add to the list. Too bad, I won’t be able to stay around till Songkhran but 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. You don’t know it but you’ve contributed so much through your videos to make this vacation in Bangkok one of the most enjoyable for me. Thanks my friend!
That’s great to hear buddy! I’m pretty sure a lot of us have been / will be in a similar position, myself included. Jeroen is a national treasure. What has been some of your most memorable highlights so far?
@@banjemine4150 there’s quite a few actually. For example, the Royal Palace, Wat Po, Talad Noi, Chinatown itself, the hop on hop off boat trip on the Chao Phraya River etc. And I was lucky enough to go up the Maha Nakhon Tower to admire the Bangkok sunset before the great smog. But I guess the best part was meeting some old friends with whom I even grew up with and haven’t seen for many years because I was born in Bangkok and went to live elsewhere a long time ago. I hope you enjoy your stay.!😀
Hi Jeroen, great Video! Hope you'll produce a video of the Chinese New Year Celebration in Chinatown of Bangkok. Looking forward to your aahhnextvideoaaahhh😊

Wonderful Jeroen.. Thanks for sharing all these nice places in Bangkok. I am not too familiar with Chinatown but will make it an effort to check it out. By the way, could you give me a bit of more directions as where I should start to check out Chinatown? Really appreciate your effort. Thanks 🙏
Hi Jeroen, thanks for this update - more great food in Chinatown, always welcome😋 Could you please drop the pin on Google maps at the right location, at Thanon Song Sawat? Now the market is located right on Grand China hotel...

Very nice new market. Chinatown did not have a big market like that before.
Very good 👍
Been a lot of times in chinatown. It’s a must for every streetfood lover.
Somdtam is also my favourite salad 🥗 Pet makmak 😅😋, Chinatown in the evening is great 😊💯👍🏼🇹🇭

Take the MRT to Wat Mangkon exit 1 and from there you can follow the crowds. It is in the middle of Chinatown.
Wat Tai Mit=three friends temple😊
What is the purpose of pop-up market? Crazy concept.

😮😮😮😮🎉
Mate 🙆🏽♂️
Corner Song Sawat Road/Yaowarat Road? Next time a big construction ground?
Probably yes.
i will be in Bangkok on the 28trh and 29th but think i will avoid chinatown
I was last year in Chinatown during Chinese new year and it’s for sure super crowded but it’s also a great and unique experience 👍
So no public toilet at these pop-up markets?
