This is so relatable. Thank you Alan for showing some men that women can do with or without a guy. I'm sorry for my wording. But I'm just saying there are some men out there that HATES the idea of women having a MOTHER'S DAY and they will literally say it. My mom said that one time she overheard a guy complaining in church why there's a Mother's Day. My mom nearly slapped him in church. This is so relatable because my dad is a truck driver and when him and my mom were married he wouldn't keep it in his pants and was chasing after women. It got to the point where my mom only saw him every 6 weeks and from what I know they work 2 weeks get a weekend off and work another 2 weeks and the cycle continues. So he was seeing his girlfriend (now ex) while being married to my mom. It became like that after my mom told him that she was pregnant with me. So it got to the point where she needed help and she left with my sister and lived with my grandparents ( my mom's family), and they separated before I was born and divorced after I was born. My mom also told me that I might have a half brother out there somewhere. Because a truck driver from Dominos (when my mom worked there) said that he saw my dad with another woman and they were expecting a boy like what he always wanted (not girls). But she doesn't know if the truck driver guy was lying or not. So if I do have a half brother I would actually like to meet him one day.
