    Hi everyoooone, it's (apparently a professional video editor) Wheels here! We're snipping out those outtakes using TH-cam's editing software at the moment. Thank you to all of you who pointed them out, please enjoy being smug that you got to see them all before they were axed x

      Or hey, just splice in that multicoloured screen and beep that you get when TV signal dies, and they'll all look like deliberate style choices!
      On a serious note, thanks, that was a fun video.

    I liked seeing the alternate takes left in. When people are talking about something they are passionate about they can get carried away trying to convey that passion to someone new. This isn't some big budget movie that has been meticulously planned and replanned, shot and reshot. It's a guy talking about games he loves to play and why he loves to play them.

      I was just playing Jenga over the holidays with the nephews and thought it held up well as a fun game to play with the younger kids. None of the games in this video really do quite the same thing - and at least some of them seemed like they would be an easy way to make a mess or just plain lose pieces. Flicking pieces at each other? Oh man, that's going to end badly almost every time, haha! Jenga beats every one of them, to me.

  • @joelface
    @joelface 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great choices. Crokinole is of course a classic as others have noted, but the one that I'd really like more people to try out is Klask. Search it on TH-cam and see if it's your jam. My wife and I play it frequently, and sometimes the combination of skill and chaos has us laughing so hard... but also so competitive. Such a good game. Pitch Car is the other classic that, if you have lots of money and lots of space, is a really fun game for big groups. But seriously.. Klask. It's a better version of air hockey... in a way smaller package... with magnets!

    Watching people play games like these always makes me insanely jealous.
    However, ET has also allowed me to form my own unique handwriting style, and sometimes I just sit and write nonsensical phrases just to admire the weird beauty of it.

    Kind of an old video but I like your philosophy when you talked about Rhino Hero, saying that the game is primarily designed for children but who cares, it's fun.
    In fact, something being "for kids" don't always mean much and some concepts that seem appealing to children at first glance can easily be extended to something more appropriate for adults.
    The best exemples I could mention are Cartoons and video games.
    For a long time, both were considered for kids but then some peoples experimented with more grown up things (Comics and Anime if we're talking about Cartoon) using those supports and now, the roles had sometimes completely shiffted.
