I dont understand that first Stagger check at 01:30. He usually stomps the ground and, without any indication, randomly hits a part next to him. This one-shots my Reaper and even does almost kill my destroyer. Is there any safe zone to be at ? It seems completely random

Like with most new content, simply watching a guide that briefly touches the mechanics makes it seem harder than it is. After a couple weeks this wont be a problem, most KR players say this guardian is easier than Cali.

They eventually become routine/ easy. I think you are defining "joke" as having a different meaning than i'm using the term. "Cali was needed" i'm not saying he wasn't needed lol. I'm from NY maybe it's different slang.
If I could ask for one thing for future guides: Do not include any korean battle item meta. It just causes problems in the west, because people assume we are koreans and have to follow the same rules, as opposed to communicating with each other to make our own rules. Caused a butt load of toxicity and harassment when Turtle released, got way worse with Dragon. Don't want to imagine how dumb people will be with Monkey. Thanks for the guide.

You stagger asap from back side. He strikes front half first. And strikes half back after like 3 sec

cali was intimidating for 2 weeks now its a joke. So will this in time. People just get the muscle memory and it becomes a chaos dungeon.
