It's the public who is giving her the limelight, she has to stand up for herself. Just becuase someone is successful doesn't give them the right to humiliate their parent/s in public and defend their lover. Her mom has to swallow her pride just so all the glory goes to his son. A brave woman. Imagine defending your girl than your own mother who has nothing but well wishes for you. She did not use the money for herself but to build a house in Cavite since her son was not already comfortable living in their small house in Manila. The medalist may be happy with all his wins, but it would be a shame seeing your mother humiliated in public. That's not a good way to honor your parents. Instead of reaching out, he and his girl built "boundaries" resulting to misunderstandings and distance. Any mom would do what his mom did to protect the assets of their child knowing that their child just turned 18 at that time. Sad to see people misjudge her. His girl instead of being humble, is fighting for the attention of his bf's mom. That's not a good life partner. If you really love someone, you would care for their loved ones/ parents, etc. no matter what. I pity her mother but I salute her at the same time. I don't judge her, and I totally understand her. She did not use the money for herself but to build a house in Cavite since her son was not already comfortable living in their small house in Manila. The medalist may be happy with all his wins, but it would be a shame seeing your mother humiliated in public. That's not a good way to honor your parents. Instead of reaching out, he and his girl built "boundaries" resulting to misunderstandings and distance. Any mom would do what his mom did to protect the assets of their child knowing that their child just turned 18 at that time. Sad to see people misjudge her. His girl instead of being humble, is fighting for the attention of his bf's mom. That's not a good life partner. If you really love someone, you would care for their loved ones/ parents, etc. no matter what. I pity her mother but I salute her at the same time. I don't judge her, and I totally understand her.
