I just moved to billings and you are correct. I'm from chicago and while the snow here I think is normal, the street sweepers ARE slow. But Billings is super chill and pretty relaxing. Love it here. Plus you guys have CLIFFS!!! CLIFFS!!!!!!!
Thank you for putting this video together! For someone looking at moving out here to start a new chapter in life. I will be sure to reach out when I am ready to buy.
There is a family entertainment center with two separate locations in Billings, Montana. One indoor and one outdoor with many activities for ages preschool to adult! Wild Rose Action Center.
All my life in Chicago but I do crave wilderness. I am a city boy so I do need to live around people and shops but traveling out of the city constantly for beautiful nature is the dream. Billings is on my list of possible future destinatio s
Oh gosh I know. My clients and friends have had issues finding rentals. It’s so crazy what’s going on. I suggest you join Billings classifieds group on Facebook and ask in there too! I’ve found it’s a good resource.
We are about to work there for 3 months starting April, 2022. I hope winter has ended there because I come from a semi tropical 1 season area. I do not know what to expect or how to deal with weather! And how diverse is it? I’ve never traveled to the north before.
How exciting to come experience the area for a few months. Winter should be done. Snow has melted and it’s warming up, but you also never know. There could be a rogue snow in the spring months here. I do have a video that talks about the weather here but I think it’s safe to say it’s warmer days ahead. Being the largest city in Montana I feel it’s pretty diverse. Not as much as a bigger metropolis like Denver or Seattle. I’m from DC and it’s definitely not that diverse :( but there are lots of different types of cuisine here and we are surrounded by Native history that is a must learn and experience. Enjoy your time here.
Hi , mam this state is best for student . Who want to do work or study here ? Because now I'm planning to came here for work or study . And i want to get PR here . Lastly I m from India Punjab .
Sounds like Billings isn't the right place for the demographic of retirement age folks, even living in condos, rather than the younger demographic. And if the snow clearing us so poor, then it affects mobility in general, and especially if the older demographic. Not nearly as easy as Boise, which has a warmer climate in the winter, i guess.
we are headed to Shepherd in about 90 days from Pa, another sad state of affairs especially for conservative folk-the peace is gone. I like your videos but it seem the music while youre talking drown you out a little too much and is distracting.
Enjoy Shepherd. Let me know if I can assist in anyway. I’ll adjust the volume down on the background music. I thought it was low enough but that’s great feedback. Thanks
The content is good about the area its just the music is a little loud-id say knock it down to about 10% while narrating then fade up through the cuts when not talking. Keep up the great work.@@movemetomt

The traffic flows until it snows😁. Yellowstone (the series), brought me here.
True!! The first snow and the spring snows always mess people up. I enjoy that show for the entertaining element.

I absolutely understand. I’m not a city girl exactly but I grew up in the suburbs of DC so pretty much. But I love the outdoors here in Montana.
Thinking about moving out there just can’t find anywhere to rent that isn’t $2000 a month

@@lancetobacco8138 yes the Crow and Northern Cheyenne are nearby! I’m not sure what you mean by how are they?
Great video👍
Music is way too loud though👎
Thank you. Yes this was before I used an editor 🤣🤦🏻♀️
Great information but the music was too loud and very distracting.
Thanks. A lot of these older videos are like that as I was self editing. Newer videos are professionally edited. Thanks for the feedback!

Great video, but please lower the music volume. It drowns out your voice!

Could have reduced the background music. A little loud compared to the speaker
@@cbwrz4 yes I know I’m sorry. Was a previous editor I had.
@movemetomt interviewing on Nov.4 for a job there. If it works, my wife and I would be interested in learning more about the area from you

You have a good point. I don’t know exact numbers but I think we have a decent population of the older demographic!
Damn, you lost me at 6 months of winter
The music in the background is super annoying.
