@@Vlp111. Well not great. They have daily musical things in the day and evening in the lobby area and singing groups on the beach during the day but that's pretty much it. The new resort down the shoreline Grand Muthu Almirante has a disco. If you're looking for a hopping nightlife Varadero is much more vibrant.
Have been to this resort one time. fifteen years ago. It was pretty good, the sunsets on the beach were fantastic. The food back then was amazing as Cuba could get fresh produce from the panama region and no embargos like there is today. Thanks for sharing.
We've been twice to SRLM, once in 2016 and once in 2019. Both times we had a great experience, especially the first time. Quick question though, is the restaurant on the beach open now?

I recall there was a bar open on the beach, I don't recall about the restaurant.
Yes. La pinta has been fully rebuilt with a walk up bar as well. It serves lunch every day. It's not a straw shack like it used to be. Much nicer now.

There is good snorkelling at either end of the beach where the coral cliffs start. As well there is beach bar.
