I just planted Anubis nana in my 3 gal nano planted tank and I hope it thrives! I also have some egeria densa in there too. My goal is for that tank to be a nano planted tank.
Do we need to plant it into the soil? Or just need to attach on a rock or wood? I planted into soil in aquarium 2 weeks ago. Its growing looks fine. It has 2 new leaf after planted.
Hi Burak, the rhizome, (fat fleshy stalk) needs to be above the soil or it will die and rot. Usually Anubias are attached to rock wood etc but as long as you keep the rhizome above the soil it will be ok.
hi tropica , i have question about removing/pruning leaves if i cut off the leaves or snap off the leaves from the rhizome will new one grow in their place or it just stay bare spot that never regrow?? thanks in advance

anubias is great but i never have any luck keeping it alive. not java fern tho. java fern grows like crazy
