Couldn’t describe such a ship better. Visually proportioned. And. Oh, the open deck space! So refreshing. Some other features of ships like this also show the change of sensibility over time. Like the lounge aspect at the landing of the atrium. Maybe there was a time when the sky-high atrium was a new, exciting place to spend time. Maybe that’s one reason atriums have become stunted over time like on the newer at most, four deck high atriums on more modern ships. Maybe it’s just not as exciting or new for guests any longer. A beautiful ship they’ve contemporized swimmingly…eh…..so to speak. And kept “retro” in other cool and quirky ways - like the reflective metal ceiling in the gym. Lolz. Love it!
This class of HAL ships are our favorite. We especially like the genuine teak promenade deck which has unfortunately been replaced with petrochemical teak on the new ships. Glad that you pointed out the loss of the Lincoln centre, which we all miss and would have happily paid a cover charge (maybe a glass of champagne entry fee) as it completed our overall cruise experience.
Thank you for watching and commenting 👍 Our Noordam cruise is still up there in our top 10 cruises, even though we’ve now done nearly 70 - such a lovely little ship. And the crew…❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the preview. We sailed the Eurodam many years ago on a repositioning cruise from Quebec City to Ft. Lauderdale, one of my favorite trips. We have another cruise scheduled for this winter. Some things from your video I remember, and some things seem new.
We are just starting into cruising and often are overwhelmed with the choices but one thing is sure we are not attracted to über ships. Our first retirement cruise we have planned is to the Antarctic with the Magellan Explorer. Smaller, more intimate and less partygoers is our style.
Wow, Antarctic as a first cruise! You’ll love it. Did you see our Antarctica series. I’ll leave a link below. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍 th-cam.com/play/PLR7WpaSLH3dOS6HnZJuuE4bRtBs-cOCCM.html&si=8KuXkzmCRBb5B9ZA
Just got off the Eurodam, October 26th, after a 20 night Panama cruise. Some things were good, but our toilet flooded, we had no hot water for two weeks, no fridge for 3 days and we were robbed out our room, while we were out. 😢 Guest services thought it was funny 😮
We are leaving in two days for Alaska on the Eurodam. We have the Neptune Suite and are so excited. This will be my husbands first cruise! It will be fun making new memories! Thanks for the video!
That looks like about the perfect size ship for one of the big companies and looks very fun and relaxing. Glad you had a fun time. Down here there is a rumor that Carnival is designing a "ship" that will have 38000 passengers. If i understand the design the bow will be in Ft Lauderdale while the stern is in Bimini at the same time. Because of the length there will be golf carts in continuous use, at least one soft serve ice cream dispenser every two thousand yards, and because it is Carnival , at least five brigs with jail cells for at least 60 detainees each. While it will be equiped with engines once it is tied up at the docks, thte engines wil not be needed. Except to move the ship for an approaching storm. And if you celebrate it there Happy Father's Day.
Excellent video! BTW, we are just back from a British Isles cruise on the Nieuw Statendam and there is a piano trio and they performed an excellent Schubert Piano trio No2 (Masterwork series) in the B& B lounge. They also performed one night on the main stage. (lighter material)
We would recommend purchasing a package if one is available. In the UK we have the Have It All package which includes drinks, gratuities, credit toward a shore excursion. Costs that you need to take into account (but will vary decoding on your needs) will be specialty dining, shore excursions, spa access, spa treatments, drinks, gratuities and wifi.
We are thinking of taking our first cruise on Holland America in 2025 to the Caribbean. The Eurodam is the ship that's available for the cruise. Being you were on it recently was the ship in good shape considering it's a older ship? How is the service, food and entertainment? We normally cruise Celebrity Soltice and edge class ships. Thank you.
Thanks for watching and commenting. If you’re used to Celebrity Solstice you’ll find Eurodam to be quite similar. We found the service good and food good. With it being quite a port intensive cruise we didn’t really go to many shows, though we enjoyed the traditional HAL orange party.
@@visitwithus looking forward to today’s live as I’m heading to Norway in three days on Windstar. Thanks for all the great info and looking forward to more.
How old is this video? You show BB King's, but that was replaced by the Rolling Stone Lounge a while ago. FWIW, the singers on Eurodam were horrible, the worst we've encountered on any of the six HAL ships we've sailed on the past year.
We were on Eurodam in August 2023. We have to disagree with you about the singers who were on our voyage but it is a pity that BB Kings has been replaced, we very much enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.

Took this ship on the 7 day Alaska cruise. Loved the ship, the food and the onboard activities. Best vacation I've had in years.
So glad you enjoyed it as much as we did by the sounds of things 😍
Thanks for watching 👍
Sailing on Eurodam next May to Alaska, can’t wait!
Hope you have a wonderful cruise and found the video helpful 👍
Thanks for watching.

im leaning toward this ship for my 85 year old auntie. traditional, small and live music
👍👍👍

Yes my wife and I did watch and helped us put this first on our list for our Retirement travel.

Oh dear, sorry to hear this.

Wow, so exciting. Hope you have a fab time and enjoy lots of amazing views from your lovely suite.

😂 Brilliant Bruce. Made me laugh hard. 😂
BB King lounge was renamed Rolling Stones lounge. Took cruise Labor Day week.
Thank you. We love the Rolling Stones lounge but will miss BB Kings😔
Will be on Eurodam next May (2025) to Alaska, having sailed on her sister ship Nieuw Amsterdam last year. Even selected the same cabin :)
Hope you have a great cruise in Eurodam.
Thanks for watching 👍

That’s good to hear. We’re hopefully sailing HAL again later this year so it will be interesting to see what’s on offer. Thanks for watching 😊
Excellent video as always! We were just on Eurodam this past Saturday, and the BB Kings has been converted to the Rolling Stone Rock Lounge.
Thanks for the info and for watching 👍
Pretty Ship! Annetastic.

Muchas gracias por su información, me será muy práctica😊😊
Thank you for watching 👍
Fantastic
Yes, anything but 3-6,000 people!
beautiful ship!
I think so too! Thanks for watching! 😊
We are looking at this ship for a winter cruise. I am trying to figure out how to determine the up-charges. Any suggestions?

Lovely video, thank you for sharing. Was the casino non-smoking?
We never really go in the casino (apart from to film it) but we’re pretty sure it was non-smoking.
Thanks for watching 👍

Did you find smoke permeated the ship.
This happens on mariner like RCCL ships.
We never noticed any smoke smells.
Thanks for watching 👍
