Hello Mansi. You are absolutely right.. shaving a kid's head has no effect on how thickly the hair grows in after that. My daughter was born with quite a good amount of quality hair and I didn't want to shave her head because i felt she will look funny for a few months time, and it would take a while to grow it all over again. And I didn't know how to accept it. However, I was very skeptical about the whole thing, if I was doing the right thing or not. Eventually I found out from my mom, that my head was never shaved and I have a thick variety of hair. Also, with lots of research on google, I got to know that it's a myth. Hair growth completely depends on the genes. By the way, Kabir looks super cute with his hair shaved. Much love to you both ! ❤❤

Nice video Just for knowledge sake, whenever there is a cut on the scalp or any swelling apply compression. Either with a cloth or if you don't have anything use your hands. It automatically stops after sometime. No need to panic but constant compression is important

We shaved our daughter's head 2X. Eventhought people said to do it more often but i have done my research, and you are right its not going to change the thickness of her hair because hair follicals are inside the skin and they will remain the same regardrless how many time you shave. Babies diet is more important give them nutritious food and vitamins and it will effect their hair and their health.
