That's awesome Mike! I can only imagine how it translated moving from Peter to Eric if you had been listening through the 70s. I have watched that 1983 Rock In Rio set / show a few times on here. LORD they come out blazing! You can tell Eric Carr is jacked for that dude 😲😲😲😲
@@TreyBDrums yeah Eric Carr blew me away because I was used to Peter Criss since I was 11 in 75 then Eric come along and I had to learn all his moves lol
My favorite KISS song with my favorite KISS drummer and favorite KISS song. And you just killed it! Eric is definitely smiling down at you with this one! I love how you added a more modern feel while still retaining the drive of Carr’s original work. Amazing work, as always!
Carr was a cool new vibe for them. I just wish they would have taken advantage of what he brought to the table and went harder. But, Eric was a great drummer and it may have just been the decade. He was a big time hitter but during the non-makeup era. Just imagine if they'd have started off with this and kept going this direction 😲😲😲. Appreciate ya James! 🤘🤘🤘
Yo Don! I'm with ya - sometimes it's just fun to play stuff that is just old fashioned hard rock. And always feel free to throw out suggestions on songs - I encourage everyone to do that. This is like other tunes I've got to in that I had forgotten about it. I just happened to hear it and thought "Hey, that might be neat!" Hope you're great and have an awesome weekend my friend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Ben buddy, the Mitski cover is outstanding. I just got to comment on that. Eric Carr was a hell of a drummer and a super heavy drummer. You can feel that general Bonham influence and even the way they made the drums big......he sure came in to that band with a bang. My sincere thanks and appreciation for your kindness and support 🙏🙏🤘🤘
and there it is....perhaps my all time fav KISS track!!! Dude you are beast.....a Manimal, an other worldly purveyor of sonic blasts.......DAMN YOU TREY B.......
Did not know that bro! That's awesome Eric!!! My Kiss playlist is one I can name off the top of my head. I never have to look at it. I've got Parasite, Watchin' You, Strange Ways & Creatures Of The Night. I think the first 3 are straight Ace songs. Now on Creatures, I don't know who the main writer was but Eric Carr gave that thing a whole new feel. It's crazy to me that the non-makeup era was as poppy as it was when this was the song that kicked off Eric's tenure. They could have gone a lot heavier. Dude, I just saw a comment on here that Gene isn't even playing bass on this 😲😲. I had no clue! Sure as shit - Mike Porcaro is the credited bassist. Learn something new everyday LOL!!! Eric buddy, appreciate the support. And throw out some other tunes you dig! I'd love to hear some suggestions man 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Went back to the ol' shot from the front. And the reason I did that was the ol' camera that was supposed to get the ol' shot from my left stopped working 🤣🤣🤣🤣
.A good vithey "KISS" it is always a pleasure, in addition played by my friend Trey, it is that happiness, efficiency, energy, sound, the perfect cocktail for an excellent cover !!!
You rock my friend this is powerful drumming at full force Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us my friend keep it going well done bug like cheers mate
best drum cover of creatures in history of drums !!!!.....the best in this day so special for eric fans....great job ! greetings from miramar argentina !
HOWDY George from Argentina!!!!!!!!!! Greetings right back from Kentucky - home of Bourbon - in the USA my friend. I am a big Eric Carr fan so it was an honor to do this one. Any recommendations for the next EC Kiss era track? I'm doing another one any time now. I always ask folks what they think might be a good fit. Appreciate you!!!
@@TreyBDrums Holy shit right back at ya LOL! I never knew there was an arrow emoji 🏹 I need to be more observant! While I have your attention....Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀☘️🍀I’m questing, by the time you read this message it will be the ‘Fourth of July’ 🎇🎆🎉LOL! Trey......💚
Anytime Bud.. You're a serious drummer with a solid meter and a tasty feel and imagination.. Your kit sounds deadly..you got it dialed in.. An excellent weekend as well dude 😎🤟
He sure was my friend. And I respond to you with no desire to lean in on Eric Carr. I was too young at that point to be able to "hear" the sonic change that happened when Criss and Carr swtiched. NOW - I can say with zero hesitation that Carr made the band heavier and quite possibly ahead of their (KiSS') time by being from the Bonham school. He brought this big backbeat and amazing hard rock "groove" oriented approach to the KISS that many of us knew. But as time passed and I picked up drums, I was able to understand what kind of change that was and to say the least, it was bigger than anything they (Paul & Gene) thought. They became a totally different band - yet they didn't stick with the change and that boggles my mind. Eric Carr was an absolute artist and a machine of metal.
Same here Gray Ghost Drum Covers.... and I’m feeling guilty because I cheated myself out of decades of fantastic Kiss music! But, it’s not too late for me to try and catch up! 🧐
Man, that's crazy! Or it is to me just because they've been at it so long and it seems like they've played everywhere and to damn near everybody 🤣🤣. I'm part of that generation that got the costumes and toys. My first show (only seen 'em twice after I thought about it!), I was 5. Both parents were there but it about had to be Mom in the driver's seat on that. Dude, being 5 - I can't recall much. But it was the last tour with Peter Criss. I can remember the roar of the crowd, the first song which was King Of The Night Time World and my little mind was just blown. I didn't even think they were human 😂😂😂. I thought they were from space or some other planet. I'll always credit Kiss as a massive influence because of that. It just made all of it pretty unforgettable and I do honestly believe they set the bar on the live side. Appreciate you GGDC! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
What!? I wouldn’t have thought that Ghost. Me and my brothers and all the neighborhood kids back in Ohio used to pretend we were Kiss characters while blasting their albums!
Wow!!!! Great song choice and amazing heavy drumming, my friend! Your snare hits have so much punch. Amazing kick drum work, it‘s really pushing the groove forward constantly. Love the new camera angle from the front, your kit is looking at least as cool as it sounds. Killer job, as usual! Enjoyed it a lot!!! 😃🤘👌🥁
Vader my friend - your kind words and support mean the absolute world! I've got some catching up to do on your channel and you better believe I am looking forward to it here in just a few! Have a great weekend buddy 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
NICE!!! You crushed this great track so awesomely... Love those monster fills on the toms and those sick double kicks. So heavy, great interpretation, Trey -- a nice update to the more glam-rock era sound of the original. COOL!! 🤘🤘
Bro - just now caught your collab on Nazareth! I had listened to Britny Fox's cover of that like a month ago? Maybe a few months - I can't tell anymore. Yep, this was the beginning of their much more glam stretch and to me, it's odd that things went so hard in that direction given that Eric Carr brought this heavier intensity to the band. But, while I didn't follow much of the 80s Kiss, I still give them nothing but respect for all the different things they brought to the table. Have a great weekend dude and thank you! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Excellent interpretation of a good song, your energy is enviable and your rhythm and control magnificent, I really liked Trey, congratulations and thanks for sharing- Greetings from Madrid, like 84
Jose, for real - you have my most sincere gratitude for your kindness and support. Thank you very much and greetings to you from Kentucky in the US bud
Ah man, I love this tune. I was lucky enough to see the Animalize tour as my first concert when I was 12. It was crazy to hear this song live and LOUD. I'll always remember Eric Carr's kick drums thumping in my chest the whole show. The dude was a little beast on drums. GREAT job.
I'm loving so many of the stories people are referencing on this one. Eric Carr was a special, special drummer. I would have loved to have seen them with him and it sure sounds like his interactions with fans was nothing short of inspirational. He is gone far, far too soon. But he does leave behind a lot of love and an amazing legacy. Thanks so much for the awesome comment bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I go over to your channel and as always, I'm greeted with a whole host of new music! LOVED that you took on some Latin flavor drumming. Also Earl - it was a joy to see you and DMan talk with Stanton Moore. I'm hopeful there will be an episode where it's you, Dman and John. Seriously Earl - I greatly respect and appreciate you my friend 🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums thanks for the kind words Trey! You are the favorite drummer around this drum community. I get that feedback from lots of drummers around here, keep doing what you do! Rock hard my friend! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻👍🏻😎
Bro, I appreciate the hell out of ya being kind enough to watch! I hope you're doing awesome and have a bad ass weekend my friend! 🤘🤘 Just making sure but you are the same Michael Kidd playing with (aka being a BAD ASS drummer!) Wyld Ryde aren't you? Seriously - you all are a super cool band! I was hoping to be up in or around Louisville to catch one of your all's shows in December but hopefully next time bud.
Man, that's awesome to know Andrea! My introduction to them was the classic Gene / Paul / Ace / Peter lineup. And I can say without any doubt that I never once tried to be Peter 🤣😂. As a super young kid, I just wanted to be Gene (fire and spitting blood LOL!!). Dude, I am so glad you are out of quarantine and feeling better! I'm banged up with an injury so I'm on 'sit on my ass' time. I don't have a guitar around here otherwise I'd use this time to maybe try to learn some guitar. I only wish I could do what you do my friend. Have a great weekend! 💪👊🤘🤘
So many of these tunes..........I'll be honest, I don't have them in mind. They'll just pop up in a playlist or on a ride and the light goes off. Now with this one, I kinda wish I'd been into drums when it came out. It is such a departure from Peter's style (and I'm a fan of his too). Great point as these are the building blocks my friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Urhotto! So, so sorry for the delayed response. I am so glad to see you in the comments and thank you so very much for being kind enough to check it out!
Trying to dig around and see some other E. Carr tracks. I was surprised that one started getting a few views. That was a good surprise too because I love his work. Appreciate you Steve!!!
Hey Chris! I am a bit of a KISS fan myself so this is great to see my friend! Admittedly, I skew a bit more to the 70s KISS but I got nothing but love for Mr. Carr. Dude played with massive, massive energy and power. Appreciate it so much my friend. Have a great weekend! 🤘🤘🤘
Means a ton coming from you bro. You are the embodiment of energy! Hope you're doing awesome and looking forward to what you've got coming next dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘
This one isn't heavily covered it seems and I figured it would have been. I was toying with doing I Still Love You off this album. Eric's drumming on that is so tight. That blues feel, the slower tempo and all the fun stuff that comes with it - got any other good Eric Carr suggestions? Appreciate the hell out of you my friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Aaron buddy, so sorry for the delayed response. I'm so glad you got to check it out and I agree - Eric was a phenomenal drummer. Hope you are well my young friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘
No need to apologize. I have been really busy too amd haven't been on youtube as much. I am drumming and learning guitar. I spend about an hour every day on each. Finally done with pep band and my drum line. HS Jazz band is over in April i think.
That's super cool of ya Jason! Eric Carr sure did make a cool entrance with Kiss on this dude. It's odd that the 80s non-makeup decade was so poppy knowing this was the first real track I can remember them doing with him. This tune had some balls to it bro 🤘🤘🤘
🙏🙏🙏 That's awesome of you to say. I couldn't appreciate the support more. Yep, there are some additions or hell, I may have subtracted in sections 😂😂😂. But, I can say I like the song and by extension, I sure do like Eric Carr's drumming on this.
Dude, I hope so. From all the interviews or listening to people talk about him, he must have been a good man. All I can say is he was a heavy ass drummer and did seem to genuinely be a good man. Appreciate you Donnie! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums ... Eric Singer. Domino. That is all. Lol, seriously what I love about your videos beside the drumming style is song choice. You dont do a "hit" just to get views. That's knowing..and knowing is half the battle.🤣
Good / GREAT to hear! I just about went back to 70's KISS but figured we'd try this one. The vast majority of their 80s stuff didn't end up being my jam but this tune & this record always stood out to me
Dude, I am SO sorry for my delayed response. No need explaining but I was more or less pushed into a temporary hiatus. HOWEVER, I took part of this time to look at things like "How did Mr. Rogers keep himself so present?" and one aspect of the answer is one I think you would appreciate more than others. He prayed for those he had met or knew each morning or night by their full name. I'm so proud of you and Loretta my friend 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Woah Cool mounting system above the bass drum!! Also, holy shit, I didn't realize the drums were this intense in this song! Absolutely killer!! That fill at 1:10 was unreal haha I must have rewatched it about 10 times
🤣🤣 Awesome to know man! I can tell ya right now, you can do that in your sleep. Easy as pie - just a same ol' same ol' tom to floor roll but throw in a kick or two here and there. I watched a cover band drummer use that move all night and I appreciated how the dude never overdid the lick. He used it just enough to make simple / straight head tunes interesting for him. I highly, highly recommend watching Eric Singer do this on the Kiss Alive III drum cam. It's a pure clinic. Wish there was a better shot of Eric Carr playing it from back in the day dude
What up dude? I'm seeing comments on the kit and that's a good thing. It's not a new one but I did switch out the Smoked Glass Contrail finish to the kit I've had for a long time. I don't have any others in hiding 😂😂. Good to know that you dig that rack sound. The toms all around are bigger / deeper. The sizes are 12 / 15 / 18 on this set up and the 12 is either square or almost square. I appreciate you my friend. Thank you for your support and for kindness! 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
What up!!!! Well first, thanks so much for being kind enough to check it out! I need another Eric Carr era tune and if you have any, feel free to throw 'em out. I really enjoyed doing this one. I had honestly forgot how damn groovy and heavy (in its own way) this is. Such a change from Peter Criss and it was natural and just felt right for the time. I say that as a Criss fan too. Appreciate ya!!!!
I appreciate it but my thoughts and well wishes are with you my friend! Get it out of the way and get back home safely bud. For real, my prayers for a speedy recovery 🙏🙏
Dude, when I saw your comment it reminded me of that drawing you put up. Have you ever thought of trying Eric Carr? I've been so surprised at how supportive his fan base is. And you with the talent you have, OMG - I can't even imagine how cool that would be. Richard buddy, just thank ya for being so kind
@@TreyBDrums I’ve painted a portrait of Eric Carr. You can’t do a series of KISS portraits without including him!!! For the farewell tour in 2000, I painted myself up in Eric’s makeup. I got tons of comments that night. You’re right, he has an extremely devoted fan base. Once again, incredible job!
I think his Birthday was here in the last little bit. During that era of Kiss, I didn't follow them as closely as I did when they wore the makeup. But in revisiting various tracks and live clips - I can say he (Eric Carr) played with an attitude and a level of passion that made it clear he played with heart. And DAMN did he ever have skill. An absolute monster and I sincerely hope he rests in peace. Gone far too soon ❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘
The marks of an entertainer really show when you don’t care for the original work but care deeply about anything said entertainer performs. I’m not a kiss fan at all really but am an instant fan of this video. Actually if you were Kiss’s drummer I’d actually start listening to them. Can you make this happen? Lol. Great work buddy!!! So awesome!
Kelly bro, 🤘😆. I hope you are doing so great buddy. Trust me, if I had an in on that gig, I'd be a car makeup wearin mofo 🤣🤣. Dude seriously, thank you for such an amazing comment 🙏🙏
Albert, how are ya my friend? I hope you are great. Thank you so, SO much for being kind enough to watch and I am so very sorry I'm running behind on my replies. I am overwhelmed at the positivity of the comments. It is humbling and so incredibly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
WHAT UP DMS!!! Great to hear from you bro. Man, I'm hoping to do another track off this album. Eric was just a drummer I couldn't believe I hadn't paid tribute to on here. He was such an absolute blast and such a powerhouse
🤣🤣🤣 I have not heard this so fill me in - Yngwie approves of the rather hi hi hats? Funny you say that because I was watching live clips of him from the mid 90's the other day. Believe I was watching You Don't Remember from Budokan. He had a SMOKING band at that point
Eric Carr was an absolute beast. Your drumming seems both effortless and intense at the same time. Impeccable work on the rendition plus an awesome shirt, man. Two thumbs up.
My sincere thanks for the kind words my friend 🙏🙏. I wasn't expecting as much of a reaction as this one got so I'll try to find another track off that album. I agree whole heartedly on Mr. Carr - pure beast. (Wutang and Kiss was an odd mix 😂😂)
I'll keep on trying bro! As long as you're kind enough to watch, it's my pleasure to try and keep coming up with some tunes that are hopefully entertaining dude! 🙏🙏🙏 I hope you are doing great my friend
I am speechless! No kidding... Absolutely FANTASTIC Trey! You are an amazing drummer! You know you're stuff... Very powerful & confident but yet "relaxed" at the same time... The sign of a very-very good drummer! If I were 20 again and looking for a powerful - yet, tasteful drummer - you'd get the gig! NICE JOB! Nice F-ING JOB! Love your set up too! Cool...................
Man, that's the highest praise I could ask for. If songs come across with power and confidence, those are the two things I can try to bring to the table. And "confidence" is not being used as a word in the same hemisphere as cocky or anything of the like. Confident in simply knowing I'm in my wheelhouse. Any other Kiss tune suggestions from the E. Carr era? I'd love to hear 'em! Thanks so much my friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I hope you will send this to Eric's website or submit it to his Facebook page. I've seen other covers of this but yours is the best by so much there is no comparison. You used your own voice but showed tremendous respect and this is why you earn respect Trey B.
Thanks so much for the suggestion! I sent them a link and just told them it was an honor trying to find a proper way to cover his work. He was a thunderous drummer and honestly, I can watch his solos today as a guy who doesn't dig solos and I have a massive level of appreciation for what he did.
I had to use some tricks on this to try and keep them big but not overdo it on reverb and water down the mix. Dude, I can go back and listen to mixes I did 3 years ago and I want to bury my head in the sand LOL! Just massive 'verb all over things. I'm a big fan of how they (Kiss) mixed the drums on this album. Niko Bolus really did bring some great ideas into the fold for that!
Yeah the drums on that record was phenomenal i had a Walkman cassette player I got creatures of the night for Christmas 1983 it blowed my mind Trey you did an awesome job covering it man..
Alright! That's what I love to hear!!! As a matter of fact I am listening to another track off Creatures right now and I'm gonna give it a go tonight and see how it sounds. My friend, I appreciate the support and I hope there are a number of tunes on the channel that you dig. Have an awesome weekend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Exactly what I was hoping to hear from others Kevin Lee. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment my friend. I sincerely hope there are other vids on my page you like 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
YES!!! I'll tell you one of his most awesome songs in my opinion was off THE ELDER - its called "Under the Rose". Its a personal favorite - Its Slower at first, but then loaded with great fills - very similar to I still Love you. Its a really fun song to play
What is up Phil! Man, funny you mention that because I Still Love You is on my list to do. That's one of Eric's more interesting tunes to me. He just has this Bonham-ish feel but it's never overplayed and he (Eric) brings his own energy to it throughout. I'll listen to Under the Rose tonight my friend. Thank you so, so much!!!
Hey Carlos! I am so sorry for the delayed response bud. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the sub! Greetings to you from Kentucky (Bourbon country) in the USA. Have a great week my friend.
What up bro? I loved trying to tackle that one. Any other suggestions from the Eric Carr era? I'm listening to a number of options but would love to hear anything that comes to mind. Appreciate you dude!!!
What's happening my friend? Well, I'll tell you that as far as I'm concerned - YOU rock!!!! I just appreciate you being kind enough to watch and I could not mean that more my friend 👊👊🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I Always start checking your channel after 10 days has past after your last video. It really bring me much pleasure to watch your new videos and brag to all my friends that I actually know you .I make sure they all subscribe to your channel whether there Metal heads or not..
Awwwwww..............seriously, that's insanely cool of you. Honestly, don't be surprised if you see a 90s hip hop kick happen. I put on Dr. Dre earlier this week in the car while it was like 8 degrees (🤣🤣🤣🤣) and I'm still hoping to do something from the Chronic, one of Pacs tunes, etc. But - for real - please know how grateful and humbled I am that you are kind enough to watch. Let alone kind enough to spread the word. I hope you have a great weekend! ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
What's happening Erik! My friend, I have been so stoked on this one to see it continue to get steady views and comments. It was an honor to try and cover Mr. Carr and I'd love to do another. Any and all suggestions in terms of songs are appreciated so feel more than free if you have an Eric Carr tune or two that comes to mind. So sorry for the delayed response. Have an awesome night bud! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
What's up Deen? I've missed the gold myself. This kit was a 90s special from DW. I'm grateful and thankful I didn't have to sell it along the way. It's fun to be back on it. Thanks so, so much for the supportive words my friend! 🤘🤘💪💪
Dude, I sure appreciate it. I've been on hiatus so I had to see which video this was - I enjoyed trying this one and putting a spin of some sort on it. Bro, keep the content coming on your fabulous channel! 🤘🤘🤘
Not sure if we shared this CD 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Admittedly, this is an era of Kiss that bled into my baseball (as a kid) days so I wasn't hard rock to the max at that point - BUT, in hindsight, I do consider Eric Carr's work on this fabulous dude
What up Steven??? Bud, thank you so f'n much for watching!!! I've been on an unplanned hiatus and I would love to do another E. Carr cut. Any suggestions? Appreciate you and cannot thank you enough for the support and kindness.
I sure would have loved to have seen them with Eric Carr. I did get to see them with the original members but that's thanks to having an incredibly cool Mom. I was 4 or so and she still took me. Back then, I can't remember much other than I thought they were from outer space 😂😂😂. Seriously, thank you so much for the suppoort
Uncle Andy! I'm so glad this one got a response. Thank you so, so much for being kind enough to watch and for being so kind with your supportive words 🙏🙏🙏
Now that was F**king awesome brother!!!!! Your floor toms sound amazing and the production quality is out of this world dude!!! I just dig how you've got your kit setup!!!! I just noticed your stealth bass rack!!! Sweet!!! Loved it!!!! 😊🙏❤💯
Yeah dude - HUGE fan of those stealth racks! That's why when I saw yours I was like "We think alike big time" 🤣🤣🤣. In all honestly Marcus, that curved bar rack does come in kinda handy in addition to looking super cool. I've got rid of that stupid ride mic stand and I got a cleaner set up on the ride cymbal. That front shot is the "INSPIRED BY MARCUS" angle bro! 💪🤘🙏🤘
Hey brother! I don’t know how this slipped past me feed but I’m glad I caught it! I haven’t seen a good Kiss drum cover….ever!! That just changed 😂. You breathed new life into music that I’ve nearly forgotten about. Thanks for bringing it back from the dead my friend!
What is up bro????? I wasn't expecting to do this and end up on sabbatical but hell, it's as good of a stopping point as any. Man, I really have always dug this track. I still very much dig Eric Carr. As far as being right on point with what he did........I didn't do that but I just tried to keep it heavy. That man was a heavy ass hitter Mike. Dude, I hope you are great and can't wait to see what your latest is!
I sure appreciate ya checking it out Joey and I'm so, so sorry for my delayed response. I hope that doesn't (in any way) come across as lacking gratitude. I am tremendously grateful for the support. I've just not really been in any YT mode (in terms of content or even just playing) as of late but I unintentionally got behind on my replies in the process. I can't stress enough how incredibly thankful I am that you are cool enough to watch and comment bro 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums Hey Trey! I totally understand how you feel. Listen you have do what is good for you! I look forward to your next video. I have suggestion for you. You had left a comment a while ago about a great chest exercise. Decline chest press with Dumbbells. That will shape up the chest nicely. 🙏🤘💪
@@JoeyClarkDrums I'll bring it back into the mix as soon as I'm back up and running bro. My vanity muscles are currently in the backseat as my old ass back has overridden them all 😂😂. That thing will flat out take me down dude. But - on the mend. Is what it is.
Been away for a minute & what do I come back to? My favorite YT drummer playing to my 1st rock n roll idols! Eric Carr would be proud! Slightly off topic: I don't think I've ever TRULY appreciated how much money you've put into making these videos, until this post! From the mics, drum kit, lights, computer, to the cameras (love the "full frontal" shots), you're FUCKING AMAZING! I hope I get to meet you in person some day! Keep rockin' & inspirin' us, brother! TREY B 2024!
What up T! Man, I sit and watch other channels that do this on big budgets and I'm amazed at how much money people put into creating content. I guess it's one of those things we all kinda know but we don't spend too much time thinking about it. But, the audio side was the part that took time. I waited and waited to put out a video because I wanted that part of things to be right. So you can back up and see I used to have just some Audix mics and a few overheads. I just set aside what extra money I could every couple weeks and stayed on Ebay searching for upgrades. And - I don't have anywhere near a full boat set up. I can't imagine how much the real deal studio costs. I sure as hell appreciate ya dude!
What? No faced paint??? Thumbs down hahahah no I'd never do that to you dude. Hey I like that new view from the front of the kit. I always forget how low you setup that rack tom. Good God! How big is that kick drum anyway? 28" or something?? That thing sounds like a canon. You're not allowed to get injured by the way. We're all counting on you for inspiration! Hope it's nothing too serious. Get well soon buddy!!
😂😂😂 Man, I just about started this with a disclaimer that read "THIS COVER OF CREATURES OF THE NIGHT WAS PLAYED AT 8:45 AM" 🤣🤣🤣. Either that or a shot of me taking Melatonin and reading a book at 9:45 LOL! I hear ya on the injury. I agree that this is not allowed so I'm going to just stay put and try to will this away. Got me man..........back injury. Have no idea how or why. Just getting at that magical age where you can get injured sleeping or shit like that HAHA! Your cover of Wish is nothing short of phenomenal bro
That's super appreciated Lewis! And I'll tell you the same thing I tell other guitarists / bassists - always feel free to hit me with a comment if you are covering a tune that I've done if you ever wanted the drums for a drum - bass version. If I've kept a given track, I'll always try and supply it. Bro thank you so damn much for the support and for just being kind enough to watch 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘

I'd love to hear some suggestions man 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Very cool, like the third camera, thank you.

An excellent weekend as well dude 😎🤟
Ya know I listen to a lot of music...then I hear this again and it my be my fav album ever.
Oh it's a great album that just landed at a weird time. I have nothing but respect for Eric (RIP)
Eric actually stayed on both kicks, frequently landing on the snare hit also. I saw him do it live side stage. It's super powerful.
Excellent performance sir you rock
Great job, man!!!!Eric Carr was one of a kind!!!
Eric Carr was an absolute artist and a machine of metal.
great performance~~~!
very nice sound~~!
Thanks for sharing~~:)
My friend - thank YOU for being so kind as to watch 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
I’ve never owned a Kiss album or seen them in concert….I’m glad I saved it for this! 🍻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@TreyBDrums You too, my friend! 😃🤘
Great playing as always Trey! Nice big fills and in the pocket grooving!

@@TreyBDrums yeah thats me! I love watching your videos!!🤘
This was introduction to Kiss music when I was a Kid... great job as always Trey!
Nice and heavy bass drum work! You're always up to the real rock songs, they are the foundation for ALL the modern alternatives!
@@TreyBDrums The playlists are the best thing on streaming platforms!

Kickin it Old School ……. Heck Yeeeeesss 🔥🔥
Mr. Carr! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great cover man, I always loved Eric Carrs playing. Fitting tribute..
Trying to dig around and see some other E. Carr tracks. I was surprised that one started getting a few views. That was a good surprise too because I love his work. Appreciate you Steve!!!
Awesome 👏 big KISS fan here!!! Keep it up 👍
Hey Chris! I am a bit of a KISS fan myself so this is great to see my friend! Admittedly, I skew a bit more to the 70s KISS but I got nothing but love for Mr. Carr. Dude played with massive, massive energy and power. Appreciate it so much my friend. Have a great weekend! 🤘🤘🤘
Fantastic cover Trey! Great energy! 🔥🔥🔥
Means a ton coming from you bro. You are the embodiment of energy! Hope you're doing awesome and looking forward to what you've got coming next dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Killer cover, and a rare one, dont see this one done at all.... You Killed it. Thanks
Wow!!! Loved!! Great job as always Trey!
❤❤❤❤ My sissy!
Very nice job on this cover! KISS has really good songs. Eric Carr was a excellent drummer. 😎🎵🥁👍
This is what it means to be in the fighting ring, 💪💪🤘🤘
great Trey 🧨🧨
this is a really powerful and heavy cover, I love it 🎵🎵💖💖
That's super cool of ya Jason! Eric Carr sure did make a cool entrance with Kiss on this dude. It's odd that the 80s non-makeup decade was so poppy knowing this was the first real track I can remember them doing with him. This tune had some balls to it bro 🤘🤘🤘
So sick! You killed this and added to it Bro!
🙏🙏🙏 That's awesome of you to say. I couldn't appreciate the support more. Yep, there are some additions or hell, I may have subtracted in sections 😂😂😂. But, I can say I like the song and by extension, I sure do like Eric Carr's drumming on this.
Absolutely!!! Fuckin!!! Beautiful!!! Eric would be proud.
Stellar Job Trey! Underrated record but it’s my favorite 80’s KISS project. Made my day with this one. Thanks bro! 👍😉😎
Good / GREAT to hear! I just about went back to 70's KISS but figured we'd try this one. The vast majority of their 80s stuff didn't end up being my jam but this tune & this record always stood out to me
A powerhouse of a cover, brother! And I LOVE that push-in shot from the front of the kit. AWESOME!
Excellent playing as always, Trey... Really cool cover and super powerful, my friend !!! 😎🙋🏻♂🥁
🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤ Paco bud, thank you so much for your continued kindness. I hope you have a great weekend! 💪👍🤘🔥🙏🙏
@@TreyBDrums now I gotta find these drum cams, I feel like that full is just the top of the iceberg haha
EXCELLENT KISS Great playing Trey!!!
What's up my friend? Greatly, GREATLY appreciate the kind words my friend. Eric was a beast a of a drummer 🤘🤘🤘
This guy rocks!😮
Super job with this Kiss classic! Nice to see your whole kit in a few clips. Man that rack tom is a monster!! Sounding good bro 😎🥁👍
Greetings from distant Russia! Cool video. Well done!
Awesome! Much appreciate the support and it's a pleasure to meet ya on here! I hope you have a great weekend and stay warm my friend! 🤘🤘🤘
Very cool, inventive and on the money cover!!
Great video....I'm in the hospital this week....great groove from Eric Carr 👍🏻..nice job brother
I appreciate it but my thoughts and well wishes are with you my friend! Get it out of the way and get back home safely bud. For real, my prayers for a speedy recovery 🙏🙏
Killer drumming in this song! As always, you did an incredible job!!!
So good Trey! Love your double bass work and fills :)
What up Dman! 🙏🙏 So incredibly kind of you my friend.
Top!
Rip.Eric Carr, the best drummer of Kiss
I think his Birthday was here in the last little bit. During that era of Kiss, I didn't follow them as closely as I did when they wore the makeup. But in revisiting various tracks and live clips - I can say he (Eric Carr) played with an attitude and a level of passion that made it clear he played with heart. And DAMN did he ever have skill. An absolute monster and I sincerely hope he rests in peace. Gone far too soon ❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great performance

One of my favorite Kiss songs, you killed it as usual!
WHAT UP DMS!!! Great to hear from you bro. Man, I'm hoping to do another track off this album. Eric was just a drummer I couldn't believe I hadn't paid tribute to on here. He was such an absolute blast and such a powerhouse
Great playing!✊🥁💥 And a satisfying hihat position, according to Yngwie...🙂
Damn Trey that was awesome brother! You fucking nailed it! Keep em coming!
I'll keep on trying bro! As long as you're kind enough to watch, it's my pleasure to try and keep coming up with some tunes that are hopefully entertaining dude! 🙏🙏🙏 I hope you are doing great my friend
🔥🔥💕💕Awesome Trey!! Oh my what performance..FIIIIRE!! Big like83!! Sounds fu..great amigo!! all the best..peace🤟🤙
🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤ Appreciate that SO SO much my friend!
Welcome you are Trey!!🤙😍
Man i love how those Tom's sound so deep Thunder and good footwork

Amazing performance my friend!
Steve buddy, thank you for being so kind to watch 🙏🙏🙏
Fuckin killer job brother!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Eric's drums sound on this album was so huge and you captured very well.
Couldn't agree more bro (Carr's sound). It's fucking huge dude. Appreciate you so much my friend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Damn good job! The Fox gives you a nod my friend.
I sure hope so. He was such a monster. I'll also tell you that I greatly appreciate your incredible kindness 🙏🙏🙏
Fabulous job 🤘🏿
That is incredibly kind of you to watch and leave such an awesome comment bud. For real, thank you my friend 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
Awesome job Trey! Well done mate
